Too true, the last time i remember us properly thrashing a side in the league and giving them no quarter was that second half against Newcastle at OT a couple of seasons back. In the past we'd seinze an advantage and just keep scoring, no pity.
And we've been spurning chances for a good while now, in the past players like Ruud and Ole would have put them away in their sleep. Admittedly we have Owen now who is closer to that albeit no longer in his prime, but i don't see him getting an extended run any time soon under ideal conditions.
