The Maltese are direct descendents of the Italians. In fact the first Maltese left Italy in the Prehistoric times on rafts and came to Malta where they erected the oldest buildings in the world. The Maltese language is a mixture of Italian language, English language and Arab language.

You are worse than Sporting who claims that the Portuguese are Luisitanian.
Firstly, Italians are not direct decendents of Romans.
Secondly, when the Arabs invaded Malta, they threw everyone who lived there out. The Maltese are not decended from Italians, but from Arabs, which is why Maltese is a Semitic language, and not an Italic language. Other words came into Maltese after the Arabs were thrown out. These are adopted words that did not change the fundamentals of the Semitic language that is Maltese.
You don't even have a clue about your own history, yet jabber on about other people's.
