In fact, one of my friends who portrayed himself to be a hard core United fan, (and at a time it did actually seem as though he was a true supporter) suddenly switched over to Arsenal a few years ago. This was the same guy I watched the 99 CL final with, and who I celebrated that win every night for the next summer with. And then when Arsenal won the Premiership a few years later, he swithced, citing the reason as the style of football that they play, and how he finds that more attractive than Man Utd's. I was quite surprised when he decided to remain with Arsenal when we won in 2003 though. Now he's busy winding me up about last season and their unbeaten run. Twat.
I'm quite surprised about the story of the Leeds fan though. Coz in India, I've NEVER seen a supporter of a team other than these - United, Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Barcelona.
