Iam an old timer compared to you guys. When i was playing (.i.e) way back in the early 90's the trend was like majority of those guys who played along wih me supported either Pool or Milan and in international football we all supported Brazil.

Only some of us were supporting United and we didnt have facilities to chat in the net or consistent live coverage of First Division ,premiership or the Eroupean leagues (except Italian).

As for me I was more obsessed with my local club and followed United only in big matches and followed the rest predominantly through magazines.

I felel United started attracting more young fans after 1994-1995 season and pool are still the biggest club in Asia in terms of support. Now its the other way around.Arsenal are attracting more and more fans as they play more attractive football than the rest. But Iam sure many of those so called supporters in Asia and Eroupe would ditch their team if they run through a bad patch like United or Pool.
