Seriously, not televised in the UK? A wednesday night fixture between teams fighting for Europe and the league title respectively? Bullshit.

A bit risky now, I know.

----------Van der Sar------------
Rafael--Evans-----Brown-----Evra
Fletcher-Scholes --Carrick---Giggs
-------Rooney-----Berbatov-------

VDS

Brown Evans Vidic Evra

Nani Fletcher Carrick Giggs Park

Rooney

Very tough game. Could be huge if we win particularly with Chelsea playing Everton and Arsenal playing Liverpool.

I think he'll play Berbatov as he took both him and Rooney off at the same time today. I'd go for:

van der Sar

Rafael
Evans
Brown/Vidic
Evra

Valencia
Carrick
Fletcher
Giggs

Rooney
Berbatov

SUBS: Kuszczak, Neville, Brown/Fabio, Nani, Scholes, Park, Owen.

I think we should approach the game the same way we approached the Arsenal game, Villa are a good side full of young and exciting players in a way similar to Arsenal'sthough Villa have more steel.

Arsenal deploy different tactics to Villa, for one thing Villa don't play Denilson.

Villa's weakness I feel is that they lack a ball winner in midfield and rely on playing on the counter attack. Might be a good game for say Anderson or Fletcher to try to run at Milner and Petrov in the centre.

What i meant is that they have a group of young exciting players like Arsenal : Milner, Young, Agbonlahor, Downing ....

Richard Dunne has added steel to their defence.

Owen couldn't score in a brothel. Even the one where Avram the Hut scored.

Anyone worried that Nani's performances today was not up to his performances against City & Arsenal ? should he start always on the right and move Antonio to the left ?

I was listening on the radio, all the streams were absolutely gash, and I'm able to write a post and click 'submit' while listening to the match, especially when we lead 5-0. I don't see what your problem is.

We need to match Chelsea's result against Everton basically. Beat their result and we're in a very strong position.

I thought Valencia was quite average today, it wouldn't have hurt to swap him and Nani over once or twice during the game to see how it goes.

Nani is not as effective on the left.
On the right he is almost Ronaldo.

GK: Van der Sar

Beat Villa and we're in a fantastic position for the run-in.

Have I missed something or is Brown suspended for the match on Wednesday?

Park - Rooney - Nani
Carrick - Fletcher - Scholes
Evra - Evans - Brown - Rafael

Vidic, if fit, is preferred to Brown. However Brown and Evans are doing well at the moment so it might be questionable to throw Vidic in during such a big game. However, I am sure that he will be able to cope well.

Basically if all Vidic did was injure Agbonlahor at 0-0 and get sent off ... job done!

None of the rest seem capable of scoring against United.

I'm just being cynical
