Fergie seemed happy in his post match interview.
Said the players were fantastic. Should have won the game, and we were the better side. He said Nani's tackle was a red card, because it was two footed, but he said he isn't a dirty player. Also said there was a foul from Agbonlahor seconds before it happened, which if it was given, then the Nani tackle would never have happened. |

Just got in, good night! just thawing out it was perishing.
Atmosphere was good, lots of green and gold, lots of scarf waving, the usual chants. Villa fans were rubbish as usual. Shame we couldn't make more of Chelsea's slip up but we played well and the gap is closing. Quite please, come on reds we can do it! |

A Sky sports commentator who commented on the highlights said Gareth Barry whipped a free-kick in towards the end, they're all muppets!

Rooney was excellent after the sending off, in my opinion. Didn't think he was that good before though and thought he struggled playing against two big CBs on his own. Once Berbatov came on, he played much better.

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson admits he's been impressed by James Milner's form for Aston Villa this season.
United went to Villa Park last night and drew 1-1. Ferguson said: "Milner's switch to the centre has galvanised the centre of midfield. I think he has done really well there - he's been a revelation this season. "He has done really, really well. I thought he was the star man against us earlier this season at Old Trafford. "He's always been a player with good endurance. He can run all day and he is a strong lad. The benefit of having Milner is he can play in both the central roles and in both the wide positions too. "You've got a player who can play in four positions really. In the modern game, if you're talking about having squads, it's great to have a player who can apply himself in different positions, like I have with John O'Shea for instance. Milner has done well." High praise for Milner.Hmm i wonder. |
