If Vidic doesn't start against blackburn he shouldn't play against barca.

I don't have faith in a rusty Vidic against an Eto'o or Messi,he needs time as we found out last season against milan.

Pique might not be very agile and can easily be got past but i love his composure on the ball, something we need at the back.

Strongest team ffs. Do you want us to lose the title by having Ronaldo and Rooney on the bench?
This is our most important game so far this season. a draw and we only needs two more wins(if not against Chelsea we got West Ham and Wigan in our last two games). If we win, we only need 4 more points.

Erm, not quite.

A draw isn't the worst result in the world.

You should never settle for a draw before kick-off, we're Man United!

ok, if I've got this right:
Chelsea are now within 2 points. So if we draw w/Blackburn we're 3 ahead going into the Bridge. If we lose at the Bridge then we're still ahead on goal difference and then we just have to match their results in the final two games.

sounds easy.

A) Chelsea might not beat Newcastle away

B) They probably won't beat us

I can't believe how much of a fanny so many people are on here...we're Manchester United for fuck sake, we're not going to Stamford Bridge to make up the numbers.

A win at Blackburn and it's even easier.

My thinking too, although I won't predict a loss at the Bridge.

We should neither underestimate West Ham and Wigan.

Feck, ive got the same feeling I had before the Boro game.

Must-win game, regardless of what anyone else thinks. We cant go to Stamford Bridge with with only a 3 or even a 2 point lead for that matter.

If we win/draw on saturday, all the pressure will be on Chelsea on 26th.

If we lose, don't want to think about it......

A draws not even good enough, because it would only take a Chelsea win at SB for them to be level on points.

I don't think a draw is good enough. It means we would have to beat West Ham and Wigan, presuming we lose to Chelsea. Mind you having seen Chelsea's last two matches, I don't know how we could lose to them.

No, but thanks anyway. So worried about this game because Blackburn at Ewood Park are a good team and of the last 5 games at Ewood we have lost 3
Hopefully Fergie will pick our strongest team, and hopefully Vidic and Nani are back.
