That's the best team for this match. Unfortunately, it's also the best team for the Barca match and we probably won't play identical line-ups. I don't expect Hargreaves to play in this one.

THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH PLAYING YOUR STRONGEST SIDE BACK TO BACK OVER THREE DAYS, MIND GIGGS WILL START IN EUROPE SO IT MIGHT CHANGE UP, THAT SAID ANDERSON-CARRICK-SCHOLES WILL BE MOST EFFECTIVE BARCELONA, THINK ANDERSON WILL SHOW XAVI A LESSON OR TWO

![]() Most of the side will hopefully be the same, but with Hargreaves and Anderson's fitness problems I don't think they'll start both games. I will be very surprised if Hargreaves plays at all against Chelsea. Just wish Fletcher was fit... |

Fergie will probably rest Ronaldo, and start with fresh players like Nani and Giggs as wingers.
I don't think that would be a bad thing. Bring Ronaldo on in the 2nd half and give him 30-40 min to do the job. (I want Ronaldo to start, but don't think he will) |

I want rooney and tevez to be on the bench. And then bring them on, on the 60th minute. Fuck me if them two come on the pitch at the same time it would be like a bomb going off.
Jokes aside, I think no matter what the result we will win the league, id rather rest them for barca if we can. Grant knows if chelsea have any chance of winning the league they have to beat us at the bridge. But he won't go for the win cus I think he knows we'd absoloutly rape them. This game will be a draw. Avram knows hes lost the title so he won't want to lose and dampen morale. He'll play for the draw. |

O'Shea--Rio--Brown--Evra --Carr--Scholes--Anderson ---Ron----Tev----Roon--- Potential title decider - you have to play your best (fit) XI. If Vidic is out I figure SAF will throw O'Shea at RB and save Hargreaves for Barca leg 2. 2-1 (Ronaldo, Tevez; Drogba) |

It would make things much simpler if we had another fresh striker to play up front in this game. Rooney and Tevez have been worked hard and they will need to face Barcelona after a tough game such as this. Oh well, we will have to make do with what is available.
I expect either Nani or Giggs will start this one. Evra could be rested to allow Silvestre a chance perhaps? As for midfield, Anderson has not played in a while and his freshness may warrant a start. |

I wonder how Chelsea will play this game. They havent been scoring many goals recently but they have been defending well. So will they play their normal defensive/possesion game or will they try and play fast attacking football?
The key is to put pressure on their defence when they are passing it round at the back, so to force them to play a long ball. We should attack them with pace, and try and stretch them. |

If Chelsea score tomorrow, it will be one of the following...
1. Dive. Goal scored via penalty 2. Dive. Goal scored via freekick 3. Deflected shot ends up in the back of the net 4. Clear offside decision not given. Goal 5. Scrappy goal scored from inside the 6 yard box 6. Brown (OG) |

Fletcher would be perfect for this match. Scholes will be rested, Vidic will be fit, and Rooney will play up top on his own.
VDS Brown Rio Vidic Evra Carrick Anderson Nani Park Ronaldo Rooney Hargreaves and Scholes will play on Tuesday for sure so they will be rested as will Giggs. The starters will defend for most of the match. I can see Tevez scoring the winner late. Subs Tevez,Giggs,Oshea HELL OF A BENCH THERE. |
