Chelsea v Manchester United (12:45) Frank Lampard misses out following the death of his mother with Michael Essien, who was suspended for the Blues' European clash with Liverpool on Tuesday, set to return in place of the England midfielder. Chelsea boss Avram Grant has no further selection worries. United defender Nemanja Vidic looks set to return to the side after a stomach bug ruled the Serb stopper out of the midweek game against Barcelona. Other than long-term casualty Louis Saha, Alex Ferguson has a full squad to choose from. Anderson is expected to start in midfield having not featured at the Camp Nou while Darren Fletcher could return to the squad from a long-term knee injury. Never really know if its based on speculation or facts Seems a reasonable summing up of the situation But no details on actual team yet |

Oh feck, I am so nervy now, it's unbearable. I had not been worried about this game at all for the entire week since Barca, and now all of a sudden it's like a release of nervous energy and tension.
No matter what people say, defeat is not an option. It was be a momentum checker at a vital phase of the season. We have to play naturally and attack. It sounds obvious, but if we try to play for a draw, it will most likely go tits up. I have never rated Avram Grant, but I have this funny, awful feeling that he could be about to achieve one of the greatest sporting flukes ever. We have had the day less rest, but should be fairly confident after our clean sheet in the Nou Camp. The reversion to this seasons first choice back five should add to that confidence. Getting Hargreaves and Anderson in alongside Carrick will really give us extra energy in midfield. Get Nani or Giggs in for Park and I think we have the makings of a team which can hold Chelsea from scoring and also a side that can carve good openings. VDS Brown-Rio-Vidic-Evra Carrick Hargreaves-Anderson Ronaldo-Rooney-Giggs Chelsea, like ourselves, have not been producing good football of late, but they keep keeping themselves on our coat tails. Drogba, Essien, Ballack, Cole... those are players who can produce an important moment. |

Rooney and Ronaldo hardly turn up against chelsea epspecially away from home.
They better remove thier invisible cloaks and deliver. -------------------Vds------------------- Brown--------Rio--------Vidic--------Evra Nani----Hargreaves-----Anderson----ronaldo ------------------Giggs-------------------- ------------------Tevez------------------- I am resigned to seeing giggs playing a part in every game this season to reach his record. |
