the ref tried to keep the game going but when it mattered he let the drunkard son of a whore score.
still we had our chances and should have put them away. We played better than in a few matches...thats what gives me confidence we will still take the title. |

Unbelievable refereeing. Should have won that.
Oh well, you don't have to win at Stamford Bridge to win the league and I saw enough today to convince me that we've got the players to win the title. Just need to keep at it. |

Still cant score away from home to a top side...our finishing is so bad...didnt deserve to lose that but why is our finishing and final ball so dreadful in such games...everything was either overhit or underhit or wide or over etc...

Its just so frustrating...even though we were clearly the better side and were creating more openings in the final third i just new wed never score i never felt at any time wed would and thats the sad part for me.....everytime we got into a good position we either chose the wrong option or blasted it off target...in these sort of games when you get few clear openings your finishing has to be better.... |

Why is it every stamford bridge game the following happens.
We have a blatant on-side run called off-side We have a blatant penalty not given Chelsea have every decision, including the dodgy one that has a further dodgy incident that leads to their goal. Fletcher is immense and should be captain btw. |

the ref was shit ok, but he should have sent off Evans, this reminds me of 1982 semi final between west germany and france the german keeper made a horrendous tackle on french player and got away with it
![]() as for the game, we had many corners that yeilded nothing, had a free kick from good position that was not excuted properly, the current squad dose not have the likes of Ole & tevez to come in and turn things... all in all im very proud of the way we played and somehow it dosent sound like defeat. |

Worst display by a ref I've seen for a long time.
Got all the big decisions wrong. Terry pulling Valencia down by the shirt in their penalty area. Fletcher's tackle was perfectly legitimate. Drogba not only fouls Wes Brown, but he is then yards offside. He was directly in Edwin's line of sight, trying to flick the ball in, so he must have been intefering with play. Shocking performance by the ref, but I thought we were superb! Would like to have seen the subs given a much longer time to make a difference. |
