Manchester City Vs Manchester United - Sunday 19/08/2007 12.30GMT

vs.

Fergie’s red army make the short trip across Manchester to the council house for a must win local derby. Can United, without Rooney and Ronaldo earn their first win of the season against a rejuvenated City team who have impressed under new manager Sven Goran-Eriksson?

Likely line-up:

-------------VDS------------------
Brown----Ferdinand---Vidic----Evra
----------------------------------
-------------Hargreaves---------
-----------------------------------
-------Carrick--------Scholes-------
------------------------------------
Nani---------------------------Giggs
------------------------------------
-----------------Tevez-------------

This will be some game. City actually look decent since god knows when and we need a win badly. Should be a cracker, which will hopefully end with a United win.

We better win, no win from 3 matches will be truly horrible.

Must-Win game to not lose more ground on Chelsea/Liveprool/Arsenal/Everton. If we fall to far then it will take a lot to come again. A lot! My team then. Well, it surly picks itself.

Giggs - Tevez - Nani
Carrick - Scholes - O'Shea
Evra - Vidic - Ferdinand - Brown
Van der Sar

Kuszczak, Fletcher, Anderson, Saha, Hargreaves (Hoppfully this can be our bench)

I like that team but I would start Fletcher instead of O'Shea. He has a mixture of Hargreaves battling ability with the passing of Carrick. Saha simply must be on that bench because he will lead the line for us like no other striker we have.

1-3 United : Scholes x 2 and Teveth.

---------------Vds------------------
Brown-----Rio-------Vidic-------Evra
------Hargreaves------Carrick-------
---------------Scholes--------------
Nani---------------------------Giggs
--------------Teveth---------------

Bench : PIG, Piqué, Fletcher, O'Shea and ANDERSON FFS.

And play Scholes as a second striker, not Giggs

Hargreaves won't start. Can't see us winning the way we're playing at the moment and we will lack fire-power even more now with Ronaldo out. Hate to say it but 1-0 City and we'll continue to slip away

He's supposed to be a Man United fan.

This is what I reckon the line up will be:

---------------Vds------------------
Brown-----Rio-------Vidic-------Evra
------Fletcher------Carrick-------
---------------Scholes--------------
Nani---------------------------Giggs
--------------Teveth---------------

I can’t see Hargreaves starting if he has not even made the bench for the last two games.
Though hopefully we can at least have a bench of: Kuszczak, O'Shea, Hargreaves, Anderson, Saha

For me that has to be the team

I can see either a 0-0 or a 1-1

This match will be very important for us and we've to win in order to reduce the lead which is 4 points now.

Remember last time at City Stadium when we won- 0:1 how it helped us those three points and i say if we beat Man city on this Sunday and Pool vs Chelscum end draw the title will be interesting to watch if not give up.
