I think a big win is important from a confidence point of view more than anything to be honest. I don't see how it'd be beneficial to be stumbling into the derby game. A couple of quality wins before City would set us up nicely. |

Agree with Feed Me, those players have been utterly useless recently.
I'll add there's absolutely no chance of any of them having a positive impact in an easy win for us tomorrow - none at all. |

Just a win will do and a win against Everton. We have no influence on what they do until we play them of course. A 5 point gap going to Wastelands will mean all the pressure is on them.. Squeaky bum time.

We'll go 1-0 up early, then again settle and win 2-0 or so. This season we rarely run over our opponents at home score wise (bar Arsenal).
I'll take any kind of win. A win in fashion would be great though ![]() Old Trafford should be LOUD tomorrow! |

We could really do with lifting this doom and gloom City have created with their massive win today, alas there's more chance of tomorrow being 1-0 to United than 4 or 5
![]() End of the day though any kind of win PLEASE |

Sean's team to beat Aston Villa
![]() Starting XI ![]() Bench: Amos, Smalling, Fabio, Giggs, Nani, Welbeck, Chicharito Not in the squad: Berbatov, Park, Jones, Fryers, Pogba, W.Keane Out: Vidic, Fletcher, Anderson, Owen, Lindegaard Some words to the team-selection I know 4-5-1 against Aston Villa at Old Trafford looks defensively-minded but i don't think Welbeck or Chicharito deserve to be in the starting XI after their last performances and it looks like Berbatov has no role anymore in Fergie's eyes. The right-back position was a tough contest between Rafael and Smalling but i give the place to Rafael, but Smalling is a good option too because he could be a big factor for the set-pieces (Aston Villa have conceded 18 goals after set-pieces this season) in that game. Nani or Cleverley was the last major decision for me and the place in the starting XI goes to Cleverley because i want to see finally the midfield trio Scholes-Cleverley-Carrick and Nani is maybe not 100% ready for a full game. Player to watch: Ashley Young Young's set-pieces could be a major factor for us because Aston Villa have conceded so much goals after set-pieces this season and he plays against his former team-mates. |

I'd look to bring Nani on in the 60-70th minute to really terrorise them. |

Think if Berba is involved then this might give us an insight into SAF thinking about whether to by a striker next season. If he involves Berba and then offloads him at then end of the season imo he will buy a replacement as i would conclude SAF doesn't think Hernandez and Wellbeck options are enough.
