I think we are gonna see Park, Hargreaves and Saha playing on saturday with a pretty good bench just in case. |

VDS Brown - Rio - Vida - Evra Ronaldo - Anderson - Carrick - Nani Tevez - Rooney I'm always with the mentality of finishing the game off early with our best team out. Then, if we're in a good position, bringing on the subs. No fuck ups. Bring on the Villains .. |

Some statistics on Aston Villa.
- They have 15 more points than at the same stage last season. - They have scored 23 more goals that at the same stage last season. Though this expansive game has led to 5 more being conceded. - They are yet to win a match in March (having lost two and drawn two). They have taken only 9 points from their last 8 games. - Villa's highest league position this season has been 5th. - John Carew is their top league scorer with 9. Agbonlahor has 7, Laursen and Maloney have 6 a piece. Barry has 5 goals. - Villa have scored 7 goals in the last 5 minutes of games, but they have conceded 8 in the same period. - They are the sixth most prolific team in the league and they have the tenth tightest defence. Good progress under O'Neill, though they are out of sorts at the moment. |

No one should need resting until the result is sewn up. But I wouldn't bet on it.

Blackburn - always a tough one Wigan - fighting to stay in top flight That leaves Villa, which is why complacency should not creep in. Score early so that the pressure is less, those on the bench can step forward as well. |

Villa will be fired up for this one after their slip-up against Sunderland so itīll be a very tough game. I doubt Park ( been in China)or Fletch (played 90 mins for Scotland) will play. My team:
VDS Brown Vidic Ferdinand Evra Ronaldo Scholes Carrick Giggs Tevez Rooney Subs PIG Sheasy Anderson Nani Saha I hope Fletcher plays in the Roma game |

**EDIT - Oh hang on. Your comment is a little ambiguous. By saying "Ronaldo is going to be rested for the Roma game" do you mean rested at Villa in preparation for the Roma game or rested for the Roma game as in the game against Roma?? ![]() Looking back, i presume you mean the former... ![]() |

Louis Saha is also ruled out of Saturday evening's match against Aston Villa because of a hamstring problem. (OMFG i can't believe it the man's a block of granite).
Nani is doubtful because of thigh problem while Gary Neville and Mikael Silvestre remain sidelined through injury. (nani's news the other two aren't). |
