4-5-1/4-3-3 is an absolute stick on certainty for this, especially considering we hold a big advantage from the first leg, i cant see fergie playing an open attacking 4-4-2 formation in a match where if we avoid conceding 2 we qualify....itll be a hard to break down 5 man midfield for sure.

Team should be...
GK: VDS RB: Rafael CB: Ferdinand CB: Vidic LB: Evra RM: Valencia CM: Fletcher CM: Scholes CM: Gibson LM: Park CF: Berbatov Subs: Foster, Neville, De Leat, C.Evans, Nani, Obertan, Diouf Christ looking at that bench lets hope by some miracle that Brown, Rooney & Evans get fit! Christ knows what the score will be, lets just hope whatever it is sees us through |

SAF said on mutv, that he'll start with Berba. But, I never believe anything he says
However, if that's the case- Park needs to be on a free role like he's done lately. I bet Rooney will start though and we'll look like this ---------back---------four------ Valencia---Fletcher--Scholes--Park --------Rooney------Berba------- |

Berbatov has been playing well, but it's clear that he likes to drift. I'd play Diouf and Berbatov.

van der Sar
Rafael Ferdinand Vidic Evra Carrick Fletcher Scholes Valencia Berbatov Park SUBS: Kuszczak, Neville, Brown, Rooney, Gibson, Nani, Diouf. Not sure if Giggs has trained. If he has, he will replace Gibson on the bench. Think Scholes will start and Rooney will be available if needed. Still think today was more about SAF showing Wayne who is boss. |

Assuming Giggs and Rooney are out:
VDS Brown or Rafael Rio Vidic Evra Valencia Scoles Fletch Park Nani Berb Given the current state of the tie, this team should be solid enough to get through. |

I'd guess the Milan team will be:
Abbiati Bonera Nesta Silva Antonini Beckham Pirlo Gattuso Seedorf Borriello Ronaldinho If Pato is fit, then I'd guess Becks would drop to the bench with Seedorf taking his place in midfield. That team with or without Pato, has got goals in it
