Hope Fergie realises his mistakes, and goes all out on the attack.

Attack is the best form of defence. Do what we do best.

Team should be....

GK: VDS

RB: Brown
CB: Ferdinand
CB: Vidic
LB: Evra

RM: Ronaldo
CM: Carrick
CM: Scholes
CM: Anderson
LM: Giggs

CF: Rooney

Hopefully everyone is fit and after today's result I think we'll do the business and go through. Aint got a fucking clue about the score though other than Cristiano getting one (he promised)

Agreed, we have to attack. We had two shots cleared off the line in 5 minutes when we actually wanted to score at the end of todays match, and that was with Chelsea being defensive.

Get a goal early, then get another, then finish them off, then you defend however much you want.

I can see us scraping a 1-0 win.

I'm not confident though, after seeing today's awful performance.

I remember about this time last season we played Pompy away and were shockingly bad and we lost 2-1...... 3 days later we beat Roma 7-1

I hope its not 1-0, if we get the first goal then we'll probably just sit back and try to settle for that instead of going for the 2nd goal. Take of the strikers too

Yes, assuming Vidic, Anderson and Rooney aren't injured. I know it's been said before, but if United can't beat Barcelona straight up at Old Trafford on the tail end of a ten-match home winning streak in Europe, then we don't deserve to go through.

So we'll win 2-0.

There's no margin for error now. Win the next 4 games and end up with a double, or fuck up and end with nothing. We like to do it the hard way, then let's do it folks, bring them on!

One more thing. We have got to stop conceding the first goal in matches. In our last few games this has happened too much. We must get in front against them and do not sit back and hold what we have got.

Agreed with this except Carrick has been playing too many games on the trot..he looks tired and has been below par in the last two games, I'd personally have a midfield trio of Scholes/Hargreaves/Anderson.

----------------VDS---------------
Brown--Pique/Vidic------Rio----Silvestre
--------Hargreaves--Scholes-----Evra
Ronaldo---------Tevez---------------
----------------Rooney--------------

We should have Evra left wing at Silvestre LB. It will achieve two major things: One, it will help stop Messi. Two, it will give us a good attacking threat. I honestly believe Evra would add more going forwards than either Giggs or Nani on current form.

Only debatable area is midfield. There are good arguments for Carrick or Anderson ahead of Scholes or Tevez. For my money Hargreaves must start in CM though.

I genuinely think we'll stuff 'em. No logic or reason why. Besides the fact OT will be rocking.
3-0.

I think we should play 4-4-2. Enough of this defensive play, I won't stand another cattenacio display from us.

van der Sar

Brown
Ferdinand
Vidic
Evra

Ronaldo
Scholes
Carrick
Nani

Rooney
Tevez.

If we line up like that and play our game like we know we can, then I'm sure we can dominate. Let's be having them..

If Carrick was left out we'd miss him - I guarantee it!

We have such attacking threat at our disposal, so let them express themselves and i think Fergie shall. Time to let the Holy Trinity loose on that Barca defence i say..

If we start the game on Tuesday like we did in the first leg or Chelsea today, i should think that it wouldn't be too long before the cries of "ATTACK, ATTACK, ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK" rang out around OT.

I have my doubts as to Carrick starting the match myself, likely that Scholes will and if it were down to me, Hargreaves too.

Oh, and i'll also be there.
