Lets get back into the winning way tomorrow mates!

I sure hope our boys are up for it manana after the past couple of performances. But, after a few hiccups I think SAF will have them with 4 wins in their minds and not looking ahead to any of them until that matchday is here.

As far as my lineup, he'll probably go with the 5 midfield as usual, unless Roo is out which is likely, at least not in the starting lineup I bet. I think we'll take them at home, if not I'll be very disappointed.

-----------------------VDS----------------------
----Brown---Ferdinand--------Vidic-------Evra----
--------------------Hargreaves-------------------
----Ronnie-----Carrick------Anderson----Nani----
---------------------Rooney---------------------

Bench: Tevez(or Roo, then Tevez up front if Roo's not 100%), Scholes, Silvestre, Giggs, O'Shea, Fletcher, Pig

Final: 2-0 Goals from Nani and Ronnie

Nerves kicking in right...now.

Gonna be a sleepless night here in Western Canada. Thank goodness the match is at 12:45pm here; otherwise, and to paraphrase Eddie Vedder, the waiting would drive me mad. Still confident, mind. Otherwise, what's the point in being a supporter?

I am backing Tevez to shine, when it matters and so much at stake!

He saves West Ham from relegation, I am sure if SAF plays him he wll save us the CL and the League too!

Go Tevez! Go for their bloody throats!!

Nah, mate, just started posting again after a long (read: two-plus year) layoff. I let the pros take care of the posting around here.

I'm not religious but please God allow either Pique to be up to the task and get the start or Vidic to be well enough to go.

We absolutely need a Scholes/Anderson Carrick Hargreaves midfield today.

Haven't played well for the last 6 games.Need to dig deep tonight.Going to be a difficult decision .Do we play like we did at the Nou Camp and try to nick a goal or go for it knowing they have the players to punish us.I'll go with my heart and say a United win.

Tha'ts more like it damnit. Screw this nervousness. Nervous about what? Fuck Barcelona they're not any better than us. Why the fuck do we have to do this all the time and show these Euro puffy pussies fear. We deserve to be at this stage of the competition just as much as they do so fuck the mentality that they're better than us.

I read that Barca havent won a match in 5 matches. They will be desperate to win tonight. So we have to show that we want it more. We've got to make them shit bricks, turn Old Trafford into a Fortress-Sing your hearts out lads- lets have them!

There a million line ups that are suitable, but I'd got for this

----------VDS---------
Brown - Rio - Vida - Evra
Anderson - Scholes - Hargreaves
Ronaldo --- Tevez---Rooney

I just feel that Tevez is more likely to bang one in rather than Wazza...if Wazza has to go upfront, then I would likely start Giggs or Nani on the left.

Either way, 5-0 win for us

Ronaldo x3
Tevez
Rooney

fergie has said we will attack, that means we are going to sit back and hit them on the counter
also rooney and vidic missed training and are huge doubts, that means they will definately play
i hope people dont assume just because this is ot we will dominate, fergie gets scared at this stage and it will be just a contain game, barca will dominate, have atleast 60% possesion,we will get a few great chances, fluff them, ronaldo will be silent yet again, someone will become the scapegoat and we will end up going out either
0-1 or 1-1
alternatively we could get stuffed 0-4.
oh yeah and Messi will be declared world player of the year on the grounds that ronaldo does not perform on the big stage.

i think we will go with this lineup :

VDS
Brown
Rio
Evra
Vidic (if fit, else Hargreaves at RB)
Hargreaves (Fletch to come in if Vidic is out)
Scholes
Carrick
Ronaldo
Rooney (if fit, else Tevez)
Giggs

I am hoping and praying for a 1-0 or a 2-1 but have a feeling we will end up at the wrong end of a score draw and bow out...

8 hours. Feck me.

I reckon we're going out. I've seen us come so close time and time again only for a last minute fluke, own goal or dodgy descision fuck us over. Not that i'm not confident in the players.

I just reckon it'll be one of those nights.

The players owe it to themselves, to be honest. They can't let themselves down after such a great season. Its at Old Trafford. Go with your back straight, chest stuck out, glide into the arena as if you own the fucking place.
