I actually feel sorry for the Bolton LB. He's been done so many times tonight, he probably doesn't know where he is anymore!

Welbeck walking off. Surely not a tear then.

Back to winning ways, joint top of the table (for now). Good day.

Great to have Rafael back, Valencia & Carrick were excellent. Hope Welbeck's injury is not serious, another impressive game from him.

3-0 at FT. Well deserved win, dominated the game. Hope Welbeck is alright though.

Almost as surprising as him playing an entire game without picking up a card.

Good work today. Left the goals late enough to get the blood racing but a solid performance. Nice to see Rafael back in form like that. Real shame about Welbeck getting hurt.

Firstly, thanks to those who happily quickly provided me streams

In the end, happy with that. Scoreline reflected our superiority, goals from midfield and a clean sheet delivered by a good looking and experienced defence. Hope that back 5 can get on a run now.

Negatives though are Im really sad for Welbeck, praying its not as bad as it looks, Rooney was just a bundle of hustle, bustle and wasted energy and our strikers were so wasteful to Valencia's world-class wingplay.

Even still, no bad thing, we have quality depth in the striking department and their is still plenty of area's the team can improve into as we move into the critical weeks of mid march and April. We just need to keep breathing down shitty's neck and see how they take the pressure of leading from now to win the league. I dont think they have the mental prowess to deliver that.

Wasnt it Wheater who poked it through for the Welbeck goal?

was watching it on streams...thought it was Rooney.

but really he made some great passes...missed chances he normally would have put away. would we have been better without him today.

simply..no.

at times he had several players on him and he brings that energy.

Didnt have his shooting boots on, but I think he was asked to play deeper to help the midfield IF needed, considering it was Scholes' first start.

Wasnt poor. Wasnt great. Was outperformed by half the team which is a credit to them.
We played well today

Very pleased with the performance today. Seemed to be a lot more purpose to our play today.

Still some decision making issues in the final third, but a huge improvement on recent weeks IMO

Rooney was off today. Not bad. But off - there IS a difference. I don't think he was bad as such. More that many of his moves didn't come off. But still got assists for 2 of the goals!
