Agreed, Spoons. We're the better side, and it will show. It will be tight as fuck, but we'll do them.

We can't win a tight game against them, open it up, width! tempo! Ronaldo with chalk on his boots! Rooney will clobber them.

I hear Drogba may be a doubt with a knee injury

He didn't waste too much time bringing that out. We'll see in the next few days, but it sounded like he's rushing himself back far too quick again.

Hopefully that leads to press spacking which'll fill the column inches.

They'll inject them with whatever painkillers they need to get them through the last match of the season

Seeing as though Scholes is guaranteed to start Carrick could miss out. even though he has been great.

Ive been thinkin the same.

We may need Nani and Anderson for this game. They may even start for all we know. Beating Chelsea will demand strength and mobility in the middle with pace and skill on the wings.

Drogba and Terry will both play. Sounds like some early mind games to me-Trying to to generate momentum and possibly deflate United with the "Drogba and Terry fit for final", headlines.

Anderson won't start. He's fifth choice behind Scholes, Carrick, Hargreaves and Fletcher.

VDS

Brown Rio Vida Evra

Hargreaves Carrick Scholes

Ronaldo Rooney Tevez

Subs. PIG, O'Shea, Fletch, Anderson, Giggs, Park, Saha

Anderson and Giggs to come off the bench, with either Fletch (if we need to close the game up) or Saha if we need a winner.

Lets make this one a classic, but lets make this one a win

Id like to, but that team wasnt what I want, its what I think Fergie will go for. Id love to start Tevez up top with Rooney on the left. Despite losing 1-0, I thought Rney was great against Chelsea in the FA Cup Final last season where he spent most of his time out on the left, regularly cutting in.

no idea about the drogba injury .. terry will be fine ..
a dislocated shoulder might hurt , but you can pop it back in easily .. unless there is more to it , he'd be training in 2 days time

full strength side .. everyone fit .. bring it on..
rio seemed up for it after the trophy presentation yesterday .. was looking at the fans and screaming "moscow"

4-5-1 me reckons .. tevez and rooney to start .. can change to 4-4-2 when we are having a good spell , can go 5 in the middle when we arent getting too much of the ball

In my opinion it will be:

Van Der Sar.
Brown Ferdinand Vidic Evra
Ronaldo Scholes Carrick Park
Tevez Rooney.

Maybe Nani if Sir Alex is in a forgiving mood.

We have a 100% record in champions league finals therefore statistically we're 100% sure to win, we can send the kids out, we don't even need the first team.

Isn't it great the next match on the Matchday thread is a European Cup Final

My prediction is that Chelsea are in for a shock. There all at the bridge, cocks out because they beat the reserves 2-1 a couple of weeks back. They won't do it in Moscow. Come on Utd!

----------------------Van Der Sar--------------------------

--Brown------------Rio-----Vidic-------------Evra----------

------------Fletcher----Scholes------Carrick--------------

---Ronaldo---------------Tevez----------------Rooney------

Subs: Kuzczak, Silvestre, Giggs, Anderson, Nani, Saha, Hargreaves
Prediction: 3-0 win. Ronaldo hattrick
Rationale for selection: Fletcher the "big game" player to come in & do another harrying job in midfield. I predict that he will be Fergie's ace for this match. Remember 1999 when Fergie put Beckham on the left and Giggsy on the right. I foresee that Flecthinho's inclusion woul be his 2008 secret tactic.
