Lack of any real creative spark has helped their defence though. Ronaldo has wandered around without getting hold of the ball. Scholes passing is well below his usual standard. Tevez has been anonymous so no spark.

Without Roon the options are limited and we have shown that. I think SAF maybe should have looked into a striker. Saha is never fit and with only two fit strikers we are going to struggle.

Looks to me, Fergie is in backwards mode for this match. Park, Carrick, and Hargreaves should have been the starters, at the very least Carrick and Hargreaves.
