The legs should be a lot better on Sunday cos of the rest and coupled with the fact that we have a full 9 days off before Moscow I think the lads should be up for this.
SAF will have to go all out as we may as well lose as draw so we should do like we did vs West Ham, go at them early and often. |

The season really is balanced beautifully. This Wigan game - we have a completely free week to stay fresh. SAF will have them all relaxed going into the match. Then we have a 10 day rest before the Champions League final. That won't be a repeat of the FA Cup when both teams were running on empty, that is for sure.
On our JJB record - the last two games were actually very challenging. We added gloss to the 3-1 win courtesy of Ole but had gone behind and had Vidic to thank for a trademark thumping header (he is due by the way)! Then we waited until late to come from behind to win 2-1 the season before. By no means a formality. |

I had a terrible dream last night. Or better called a nightmare. Heskey scored at the end of the of the first half. Somewhere around 75th Roy Carroll (yes he was playing for us!) made a huge blunder, trying to nutmeg Anelka (yes, he was playing for Wigan!) but he fucked up and Anelka scored to the empty net. We replied immediately (Park scored a stunner from 35 yards) but for no reason the referee disallowed it.
So we lost 2:0. You canīt imagine how happy I was when woke up and realized it was just a dream. And Rooney was on the bench for 90 minutes. |

Ut oh, Wigan's last five Home Games:
Wigan 0-0 Arsenal Wigan 1-0 Bolton Wigan 2-0 Birmingham Wigan 1-1 Tottenham Wigan 0-0 Reading Looks like it could take a good performance to score there. Wigan are undefeated at Home since January 28th, their last Home defeat came to Chelsea which went 1-2 in the Londoner's favour. Since that loss, Wigan have only conceded one goal at Home, in seven games. |
