![]() On the face of it, we should've wrapped this title up a couple weeks ago, but the lads know what needs to be done. As a United friend of mine said (who is supremeley confident that'll we'll win comfortably), the problems with United arise when we're afforded the luxury of a draw or even a loss at worse. When they know they have to win, they more often than not, do. West Ham at the weekend, we knew what needed to be done. And did it in 20 minutes. More of the same would be nice. If we're on our game, there's no reason as to why we can't win the match. |

United always put us through the mill. Some teams are ruthlessly efficient when they are in a winning position. We are not! Generally, we tend to get the job done, but only just in the nick of time.
I cannot believe that it will be plain sailing in the last two matches. At least one will be absolute torture. I think we will win late on against Wigan. |

Fergie: What about Bolton? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wily Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has attempted to shift the focus away from Wigan Athletic and onto Bolton Wanderers ahead of a nervous last day of the Premier League season. While much has been made of how committed Wigan Athletic, managed by former Red Devil Steve Bruce, will be after securing their safety, Bolton find themselves in a similar position at Chelsea. Unless The Trotters are handed a real thrashing and results go against them elsewhere, Gary Megson's side are also virtually certain of playing Premier League football next season after their win over Sunderland. Ferguson has heard tales of Bolton players partying all week and drinking at Chester races, where he attended, but is hoping Wanderers can provide a stern test for Chelsea's credentials at Stamford Bridge. "Well, I think that's been generated by all of you wonderful people in the press as all you're talking about is the integrity of Wigan," asserted Ferguson. "Nobody's questioned Bolton, not even mentioned Bolton. "It's interesting with the different attitudes because you've all got Wigan players saying they want to beat Manchester United. Fine, I've no problem with that. We're a big club. "But you hear about Bolton players out celebrating all week. "That amazes me, that change in attitude. Both teams are safe, both teams are relaxed but one can celebrate and one is all keyed up to play against Manchester United? "The only thing I think about Bolton what gives me confidence in them is the manager and the assistant manager. "I had Archie Knox for many years at Aberdeen and United and I wish he was playing actually! "He will not enjoy having his players out celebrating and neither will Gary Megson when it's an important game for the game." And there it is, i see me and saf on the same wavelength. |

Scharner is a good player, but what about the other defenders? We all know about Bramble of course, but what about Boyce? Hmm hard to see who will play left back for them with both Kilbane and Edman out. Maybe the RB Taylor. |

Win this and we win the title, at the start of the season we would have taken this. I think it will boil down to the team that wants to win more should win, which is us. Im going to be optimistic here and say we will win 4-1.
Come on United a seasons hard work depends on winning 1 game! If we don't win this i think i might go insane. ![]() |
