Great driving from Lewis.

Still why do they insist on describing him as senna-esq every race?

Raikanen

commentator said "he needs to be careful, cant afford to lose any places"

then straight away he loses control then smashes into Sutil, Sutil out he was doing so well,

Hamilton 3 points clear at the top, couldn't have expected a much better result, with Massa third and Kimi not scoring.

Brilliant race today, best Monaco I've seen in a long time.

Fantastic from Lewis too, and to go three points clear in the championship was very unexpected.

Great stuff.

Let's check the James Allen 'Hamiltonworship-ometer' today:

... 95% - Senna + Prost x Schumacher

About average then.

It is a bit cringeworthy, senna-esq driving from lewis there.

James Allen is like that though isn't he - knows more about commentating than the sport, plus in general the British media do like to hype it up and they aren't going to stop with Hamilton. He is a good driver though but its a bit much right now.

The race: It was quite eventful and saw strategies being changed left, right and centre - apart from Sutil - what a fucking shame for the lad.

Alonso was trying to hard and caused a hold up at one point.
Raikkonen had an off day - typical but Ferrari didn't have the race pace.
Kubica had a good consistent race and drove well - ultimately benefited from the poor Ferrari showing.
Massa is good but hasn't got what it takes to be a champion.
Hamilton kept his head and drove well after his moment with the barriers - deserved the win.

One other thing to note was the lapped cars not unlapping themselves in the safety car period and holding up the race - why did it take so long
