As accurate as when you predicted a sweep by the Celts in the first round

Hehe..we all know what happened later. Hawks did lose, but they gave Celts a run for their money.

Lebron gets fouled by Paul Pierce as he is running ahead of the pack, and the momentum of the two players carries them into the stands. Guess who’s sitting court side… Lebron’s loving mother. She gets up and apparently starts yelling at Kevin Garnett and then Lebron makes sure mom knows these are his friends.“DON’T YELL AT MY FRIENDS LIKE *** MA, SIT YO ASS BACK DOWN"

What did Pierce get for that? Just a PF? Should have been a technical.

That's what the major papers say, I personally don't know if it was his mom. Surely they would know. Also I remember her being arrested for drunk driving a while ago, she doesnt really have the best reputation so maybe Lebron doesnt bring that level of respect towards her anyway.

Detroit advance to the conference finals... again. I really dislike that team for some reason, they are good though.

Spurs and Pistons are Chelsea and Liverpool of NBA. Hopefully neither of them will reach the finals.

Robert Horry’s appearance for San Antonio gave him 238 in the playoffs, surpassing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the most in NBA history.

I dont like the Pistons either. Now they are gonna play either the Celtics or Cleveland, I dont think they're gonna make it.

Detroit are the epitome of team basketball.

I'll take Detroit over those one man superstar teams (read: Cleveland, Denver, Washington...etc) any day.

Actually, if you talk about spending big bucks to buy/sign players it would have to be Dallas or NY Knicks, neither of which have done anything on the same level as Chelsea. But I'm assuming your are talking about tactics.

How can you not like the Pistons? All about the teamwork, no superstars, they play for eachother, and they play pretty damn well. Prefer them to teams such as Cleveland and the Lakers which are centered around one man.

I dont dislike the Pistons because they have no flashy star players. I was talking more about the type of basketball, i prefer speedy, exciting, high scoring teams such as the Suns as a casual NBA fan in the UK. However, that basketball has not got the suns anywhere has it.

No, because they changed personnel to instill more defence and play a different style which didn't quite go off. Might still have been the same outcome had they kept Marion but watching the Suns in the playoffs was painful

I was just using the Suns as an example. However, lets face it they could not get past the Spurs before Shaq was there and they made changes anyway.

Well, dirty shot rob did do something which drastically tipped the scales into their favour. He struck again against david west

Good win there for the Lakers.

It's not east to win on the road these days.

Hoping for a Hornets-Lakers Conference Finals.

Celts have better perform better away from home if wanna win the whole thing. If they keep up their performances against Hawks and Cavaliers, they'll definitely get beat by Pistons
