I hope this season isn't as boring as the last one.

As long as the Spurs don't win it again I'm satisfied.

def, couldn't agree more. I turned off the nba playoffs last year once the spurs were in it. They are the worst team in the nba to watch.

I think this could be the time to go fuck all and try to get Jermaine O'Neal even if the means giving up both Odom and Bynum. That kid Bynum is gonna be great one day, shame it doesn't seem like anytime soon.

I really hope we make the playoffs this season so that I'll have an additional reason for coming to LA in May. Couldn't make it last year and I really missed it.
My beloved Rockets are on course, great start

That's not correct. We can not trade Kobe and not only for basketball related issues. L.A. needs to have superstars otherwise Staples gonna be half-empty. Also there's the little issue of Lakers fans actually loving Kobe more than the team itself (a group I used to belong to until recently).

And whenver you trade him, you're gonna get 50 cents on the dollar for him.

LeBron blackout / Dallas 92, Cleveland 74

"James, who carried the Cavs as far as he could last season before they were swept by San Antonio in the finals, had the worst opening night of his brilliant career. He shot just 2-of-11 from the field, made five turnovers and was mostly a non-factor in the Cavs' most lopsided home loss since April 5, 2005, and their worst loss in a home opener in six years."

I'm glad to see that Stojakovic got a good start to the season.

The Hornets will certainly be in the playoffs if they are free from injuries.

That was their biggest concern. Stojakovic said anything is possible as long as they all stay healthy and consistent.

I love the drama of the Kobe trade but for the most part the NBA is boring.

The Knicks remain undefeated (as of November 1). Or course, that will blow up when they finally play a game.

at Serbians rooting for their injury prone player who doesn't give a shit about national team anymore.

BTW, who's showing the games in Serbian? Is it still Braca Karic?

The Karic channel has been shut down by the authorities and Bogoljub Karic is now living in exile

He's under indictment so he can't return.

I'm still rooting for Stojakovic. He helped us win the 2001 european championship. He was the MVP of the tournament. He was our best player when we won the 2002 World Championship. I understand why he doesn't want to play anymore for the national team anymore. He's already won alot, and there are other players in the team who act like twats.

By the way, how do you know about Karic?

Stojakovic doesnt want to play with morons like Radmanovic, Jaric and Milicic who all have some personal issues with each other.. It`s a shame really. Our football and basketball is like a mafia organization, "if you know the guy who knows the guy who did that guy a favour once, you can play. If you pay me good enough I`ll pay the reporters to write somethin good about you. If you give me the half of your years salary, you`ll be in the first team..." and stuff like that. Mafia and corrupition destroying everything.

T-Mac scored 47 last night. He shot 17-27.

The Rockets will surely make the playoffs if they stay injuryfree.

As of 1:00 p.m. PDT, the Knicks remain undefeated and would have a playoff spot. All that changes in around 3 1/2 hours when they begin their loss to the Cleveland Cadavers. Thanks, Isiah, you kept them in the running as long as you could. Why not just quit, you cretin, and take that moron Dolan with you.

Jason Kidd had a triple double. The older, the better he gets.

Darkest day in Mavericks history when Kidd was traded to Phoenix. Yeah they got Finley, Green, and Cassell in return while ridding scrubs like Dumas and Meyer, but Kidd was the man in Dallas. Not Jimmy. Not Jamal. Nash came along the following season but I'd take Kidd any day of the week over Nash. And at that time Kidd was miles ahead of Nash in development.

Now this is what gets me. Yes Nash is a great player and all but Jason Kidd has been the best point guards I've ever seen (in the past 12-13 years I've been watching basketball) but the entire media usually have a wankfest over Nash.

I could also make a strong case that he was much better than Payton in his prime and even Stockton (although I caught Stockton somewhat at the end of his prime).

And Dallas were a mess before Cuban bought them. I reckon you are a Mavs fan, what your opinion about them? Do you think they could go all the way considering what I think was a psychological blow to them after getting owned by GS last season?

so was ray allen. Celts look to be playing well. They beat my raps in ot. The atlantic divison is definitely going to the wire between the raps and celts this year. I think raps will take the 4 or 5 seed.

Yea, he was. They won last night in OT. Ray Allen cored the game-winner.

Anybody for this Seasons Award Predictions?
Heres mine -

MVP - Kevin Garnett
Most Improved - LaMarcus Aldridge
Defensive Player - Tim Duncan
6th Man - Leandro Barbosa
Coach - Doc Rivers (not that hes a great coach jus think the big 3 will win it for him)
Rookie - Kevin Durant

Leading Scorer - Tracy McGrady
Leading Rebounder - Kevin Garnett
Leading Assists - Steve Nash

NBA Champs - Boston (I would pick the Spurs but history shows they cant win it 2 times in a row)

He was graet last night, played with a lot of energy and passion. I really hope outside things won't affect him on the court, we need him to be 100% focused and giving his all for the team. Also hopefully we'll have Lamar back soon, when Phil takes Kobe off for a rest, we're really struggling to score.

but i like how they're playing TEAM ball, and moving the ball around and not always giving it to kobe and stand by to watch a 1man show
