I think that Price is the most legitimate heavyweight prospect that I know of. He is a the one young fighter that I have seen that has, in theory at least, all the attributes to succeed the K Brothers. He will be able to catch them on their decline too.

I would back Price to handle Fury any day of the week. Fury has been smart, he will no doubt match make himself to a title shot against one of the K-brothers, get a bit of hype going, it will be a fight that will draw some mainstream interest and earn him a nice payday albeit a serious beating too.

I have heard that, too. I have also read that he has only ever been stopped on his feet.

I heard he got knocked down a few times in the amateurs, but don't really follow that level of the sport at all so don't know for sure. He seems very well built for a modern heavyweight though and not the usually flabby bastard that usually get put in front of the K brothers.

It's just that I read an article pretty recently which said a possible fight with Marquez was in the pipeline, with the winner of that going on to face the Pacquiao-Bradley winner.

Sounded terrible, but they're all with Top Rank, so it wouldn't exactly surprise me...

I prefer this option, mind. First Khan-Peterson fight was a good scrap and, with all the bollocks that has gone on since then, the rematch should be good entertainment. Be interesting to see whether Khan will fare any better with Peterson's in-fighting tactics. It's pretty ridiculous that a guy with ambitions of being one of the world's best p4p fighters (which Khan no doubt does) has literally no idea what to do once a fighter gets inside his range.

It is Frank Warrens new channel, priced at 10 quid a month, frankly it has vastly reduced the amount of boxing that I watch as I can't justify paying yet another monthly subscription for sport.

Two-time WBC World Heavyweight Champion Vitali Klitschko will defend his title against Dereck Chisora at the Olympiahalle Munich, Germany on February, 18, 2012.

Dereck „Del Boy“ Chisora is 27 years old and is rated in the Top 15 in the WBC world rankings. From 2010 until 2011, Chisora was the Commonwealth and British heavyweight champion. In his last fight, Chisora lost a very controversial split decision against Robert Helenius in Helenius’ hometown of Helsinki, Finland. Every boxing fan that watched this fight thought that Chisora clearly won and should be the real European champion. Dereck Chisora‘s fight record is 15 wins (9 KOs) with two defeats.

Dereck Chisora: „Wladimir Klitschko did not fight me last year so I am now going to get the world championship belt from his older brother Vitali. I will show Vitali that his time is over and make him retire. After I beat Vitali, if Wladimir wants revenge I will also fight him and take all their heavyweight championship belts back to London!“

Vitali Klitschko is 40 years old with a professional record of 43-2 with 40 KOs. His two defeats came only as a result of injuries and he never lost his title in the ring. Klitschko has the highest knock out percentage of any world champion with 93 percent. Vitali Klitschko is only the fourth boxer along with Muhammad Ali, Evander Holyfield and Lennox Lewis to win a heavyweight championship belt for the third time. It will be Klitschko’s 16th World Heavyweight Championship fight in Munich.

Vitali Klitschko: „Chisora has proven in his last fights that he is very strong with his infighting. His great performance against Helenius showed that he should be the European champion but I won’t be intimidated by his trash talking.”

Chisora has next to no chance, it will be one of the biggest upsets in the past 10 years if he wins. Chisora has a good personality, to sell fights at least, (he has a criminal record for assaulting his girlfriend) as he is slightly eccentric and engaging. He isn't as bad as a lot of modern heavyweights as he can get up on his toes and box a bit but IMO, he is pretty far out of his depth in this one.

Chisora's in just about the best shape he's ever been in. I think he'll make Vitali work harder than most people manage to do. As for winning the fight... well, he has very little chance of pulling it off unless Vitali suddenly starts show to his age.

Time and time again a fighter can be made to look old overnight and, sooner or later, I think this'll happen to Vitali. Perhaps not now but you never know...

It could've been the Solis fight if his knee hadn't gone tits up. You can't really deduce anything meaningful from one round of action but Solis did look capable of causing problems, so maybe Chisora can too. His head movement against Helenius was great and he managed to negate all R.H.'s physical advantages.

Of course, Vitali is a master of controlling range but at least Chisora has no intention of standing at the end of his shots all night and will try and force the action. Should be a good fight.

Helenius just isn't comparable to VK.

Chisora is one of the better fighters in a weak heavyweight division, like you say, he is able to utilise some actual boxing skills like head movement and getting up on his toes and presenting a moving target, something that you see less and less in the modern heavyweight division. Like the majority of heavyweights, he carries the power in his fists to hurt most fighters but he is not a devastating puncher and VK has one of the best chins in boxing.

Did Solis really look like causing VK problems? He clearly lost the first round of that fight. Evading the K brothers is one thing, as Haye and Kevin Johnson have shown, it is then closing the range and infliciting damage on them that is the problem. If we are honest, then we have to admit that no one has even ruffled the feathers of the brothers Grim in years. I have tried to make a case for opponents of the Klitschko's in recent years and each time they have not even got close, more often than not taking brutal beatings.

There is always a chance, maybe Vitali will age and Chisora can turn out a memorable performance. I wouldn't bet on it though.

It's a pick 'em fight, IMO. Very difficult to choose a winner.

Bute has looked decent against B and C level fighters while the Super 6 has been taking place. He has done what most people have expected him to do. The first fight with Andrade leaves a bad taste in my mouth, though, despite the outcome of the rematch.

Looks like team Bute are going to get in as many big pay days as they can before their fighter gets dethroned by Ward.

I bet Showtime are most unhappy by these developments. The whole point of the Super Six for them was to turn Ward into their cash cow. Yet the guy that Andre Ward beat in Showtime's Super Six final is getting the biggest name left in the division.

Ward is now the best fighter in that division. Its only a matter of time before people begin putting him in the PFP best fighter.

He'll be a cash cow either way and fighting Bute will come eventually if he wants it but why rush as he's clearly a level above.
