Federer withdrew from the match against Tsonga because of a back injury.

Federer has said: ""I've played through two matches in pain and don't think it's the right thing to risk anything more now. I don't want to drive myself crazy with more painkillers and I need to do what's right to get it better. It is only the second time I have pulled out from a tournament and I have never pulled out during a match."

Monfils has beaten Nadal 6-3 6-4

So we've a french final

I'd lay you anything you want on Clijsters. Ain't in good shape.

Novak, Murray & Tsonga are the one for me in the men's, & Kvitova in the ladies

Good luck to Jarkko Nieminen in the final against Benneteau tomorrow.

Only one win from 11 finals......so hopefully he wins the Sydney International title.

Judy Murray's Fed Cup team beat Austria to move into play-offs

It will only be a World Group play-off match but it's real progress (It's been 19 years since GB last played a World Group match).....Mama Murray must be proud
What a confidence boost for them all after a slightly shakey start to the year.

Congrats girls

Federer at his classless best. Says Wawrinka wasn't as good as him in the doubles and also that he shouldn't have lost the opening singles match. This is why there are many who don't like him. He's a horrible loser.

Oh and the GOAT Federer lost in 4 sets to Isner..on Clay. That's way more embarrassing than Stan losing his singles match.

He really said that? You've got a link to a press conference video?

He was horrible in the doubles match and completely embarrassed himself in the last game. Isner deserved to win aswell.

Saw that match with Isner, couldn't believe my eyes. Can't believe Jim Courier is the coach of the US Tennis team.

Dan Evans guides GB to Davis Cup win over Slovakia

Dan Evans kept his nerve to win the deciding rubber as Great Britain beat Slovakia 3-2 in their Davis Cup tie.

The 21-year-old raced to a two-set lead before his opponent, Martin Klizan, fought back to take the next two.

But Evans, who is 156 places lower in the world rankings than Klizan, broke early in the fifth set before serving out for a 6-1 6-1 4-6 3-6 6-3 victory.

Earlier, James Ward lost 6-7 1-6 3-6 to Lukas Lacko to leave the Europe/Africa Group I match evenly poised at 2-2.

GREAT BRITAIN v SLOVAKIA

Dan Evans beat Lukas Lacko 6-3 7-5 7-5
Martin Klizan beat James Ward 6-2 4-6 6-4 7-6
Colin Fleming & Ross Hutchins beat Filip Polasek & Michal Mertinak 6-3 7-6 (7-4) 0-6 6-3
Lukas Lacko beat James Ward 7-6 (11-9) 6-1 6-3
Dan Evans v Martin Klizan

Murray 6-2 7-5 Djokovic

Well any win over Djokovic in the last 20 months is a good win and it can only help his confidence............why can't you do it in a Grand Slam match????

Federer 7-6 7-6 Del Potro

Great play by Roger all week. He is truly playing very well right now; only lost 1 match since September I believe (other than the embarrassing Davis Cup). I think if he can keep this going he has a great chance to win a major this year which at age 30 would be a great achievement.

And i've watched the Murray vs Garcia-Lopez match this morning

Very disappointing result and performance from Murray, but Garcia-Lopez didn't win the match........Murray lost it (I mean 34 UE says everything).

It's no excuse for the Murray loss but i hope he hasn't the Coachella Valley virus.

I'm still hopeful that the "Three and a Half Men show" is over at the end of the year and we're having a "Top 4".

Murray has now a long break before the tournament in Miami.....that should help him for Miami.
I'm tempted to put some money on Murray will reach the final in Miami.

Isner can fuck off with his anti-tennis. Djokovic must have won more than 80% of the rallies that were 3 shots or longer. Hope either Federer or Nadal smash him in the final when his serve doesn't gift him the match like it did tonight.

What a match that was! Isner has now beaten Federer and Djokovic this season. I used to be of the opinion that he's extremely one dimensional but he's made improvements to his game this year. Become a much better returner as well.

Djokovic doesn't look as good this year as he did last season. No where close..

Oh and Djokovic is going to struggle with his ranking points now. He's defending an insane amount of points from last year and has already dropped 1k points in the last 2 weeks.

Djokovic played as well as he played last year in that 2nd and 3rd set, he really played well. He hit some absolutely spectacular shots and returns. Isners serve won this one for him, he hit more than 5 serves in this match over 140 m/ph which was this years tournament record so far. In the last set tie-break he didn't miss a single 1st serve. Not to mention him hitting around 75% of his 1st serves throughout the match, most of them between 135-145 m/ph.

If it wasn't for Djokovic's amazing ability to return serves and his otherwise great play in the 2nd and 3rd set the match would have finished earlier.

Djokovic of last year would have found a way of winning the match. The Djokovic of last year wouldn't have thrown away that first set at 5-4. He's still better than everyone else on court but the gap has definitely reduced this year. He wasn't at his best throughout the Aussie Open and Nadal really should have punished him there and then after that he wasn't at his best last week or at IW now.

And yes Isner is a hard player to play against when he's hitting 1st serves with such a high percentage but then Djokovic would have won this match if he'd held on in the first imo. He threw that away. And tie breakers against Isner are always pretty much impossible to win. Nadal lost two sets..on clay..at RG in the first round to Isner. But yes while Isner relies heavily on his serve, his overall game has definitely improved a lot. Better returner and really improving his serve and volley.

Great performance by Roger against Rafa in terrible conditions. Roger looked like he still has his cold but for once held his nerve against Nadal and stuck to the game plan and actually executed it. I hope Roger can beat Isner tomorrow.

Federer destroyed Nadal today. He was the better player in difficult conditions but I'll take these defeats in Masters tournaments as long as Nadal continues to win their matches in the Slams.

Yes he did throw that first set away. Incredibly stupid challenge when he was serving for the set aswell. I just think it's a pity he didn't win it because it would be great to see him against Federer tomorrow if he could have continued with his play from the 2nd and 3rd set yesterday.

I'm happy that Murray is in a final again but this way is never nice

So Murray has reached the final of a 7 round tournament with 1 bye and 2 walkovers
