But that's what boxing/UFC is - hype and reputation. The intention will be to get Kimbo some average to poor fighters for the next year or so, in the hope that Rutten can mould him into a semi-decent fighter. They'll then get him up against a massive fighter, give them both a massive payoff and whatever MMA network will make a killing in PPV sales.

Or.....get some feud going between Rutten and Kimbo and schedule a "master v pupil" matchup in the UFC. Imagine the PPV sales!

It's not live though. I'm going to miss it this Sunday night. I was given Sunday night overtime, not to be sneezed at. I'll have to get it taped.

Any PPV that has a washed up Matt Hughes fighting Thiago Alves as the main event is destined to be horrible....

I don't know why they has such a shit card. Realistically there should be one title fight on every card. Champions only fighting twice a year is not enough.

Agreed. Amir has better strikes and has shown that he's getting faster in the scramble, as shown by his submissions when it seems he's fucked. Don't know why JT was thrown out, I've missed the last 2 weeks.

I'll be in Vegas on Aug 9, so I'm trying to get tickets for the GSP vs. Finch fight. Huerta vs. Florian are also on the card. What really sucks is that I get into Vegas 3 days after the Rampage vs. Forrest fight.

Good shit from Amir ... same submission from the same position. CB definitely tapped, if unintentionally. Kendall Grove looked good, but Tanner seems to be at the end so it really wasn't that good of a judgement fight.

Absolutely. If it wasn't intentional then he would have anyway or have left with a broken arm.

JT went crazy kicked open a limo's window ..harassed the female staff at the hotel he was staying and kept screaming that he is a fucking UFC fighter ..it was all caught on tape. He would have been a better match up for Amir but he wouldn't have won

He's a fucking idiot! What a way to potentially ruin any chance you had at a career!

Saw the replay before the finale. A fucking idiot is right ... Dana kept telling him he wasn't ready for the big time and that he needed to grow up. When Dana tells you to act like you have some respect because Vegas is UFC's home, you better listen.

Maybe in EliteXC or Cage Rage or something, but it'll be quite a while until he enters the UFC cage again, methinks...
