Serra won by split decision:
29-27 29-27 27-29 Never really did any damage to Lytle. He kept shooting for a double leg takedown and Lytle would block it. Didn't really do anything, didn't control the fight. I'm still kind of confused as to how someone could have given him the fight. |

Yeah, was delighted when I heard this morning about St Pierre, shame I couldn't watch the thing but sounds like he really schooled that cunt Hughes, apparently he was getting the shit beaten out of him by the end of the first round but the bell came to the rescue, otherwise it would've finished then

ok... i saw the fight last night..
DAAAAAAMMMMMMMNNNNN!!!! GSP was phenomenal... he kicked hughes arse the whole fight then knocked him out with a shin kick to the head!! fukin hell... he totally dominated hughes... who himself has been totally dominant in his division i thought hughes took the beat down rather well though |

Great fights. One or two seemed controversial, just from the fact that people who were getting beaten suddenly came back with shock victories. GSP was phenomenal, have never seen anyone deliver a consumate ass kicking like that.
Recorded the ppv on my HDTV digital box...worth every penny as you can pause and rewind it...never going to the pub again for this type of thing. |

I laughed when Hughes said after the fact he didn't realize that it was a kick which knocked him out.
