Anyway, I don't see it as bizarre, it's his way of not putting pressure on himself. His little jokes in the match with Williams did seem like a way of not getting stressed, and as long as it produces those results, it's fine with me! |

Firstly, well done to theRocket on another inred 147!
Secondly, Other than Ken Doherty's much publicized love of Utd., does anyone know of other top snooker players who follow Utd.? |

Indeed, what a thriller!
This Wenbo lad.. a new star is born for sure, looks the real deal. Right now, he seems to have what Ding dosent have; a terrific temperament. It's unlucky his next match is against Ronnie, with the form Ronne is in, can't see him advancing..should be a good match regardless. |

Made it 6 out of 6 and finished with 7 out of 8 in the end.
Liang's arse was twitching against Joe Swail in the last round, so a bit of a run from The Rocket was bound to have him in trouble. Looking forward to a Ronnie - Hendry semi-final. Preferably Maguire in the final, but as long as it's not Ebdon. |

4-4 at the end of the first session. Steve Davis made an interesting point though, Ronnie is unlikely to play this badly again for the rest of the tournament, and he is still at 4-4. Hendry could be in trouble if Ronnie pulls out one big session.

His head must be in the right place. The guy is a manic deppresant/psycho but imagine if he could have kept his head like this overthe season he'd be close to hendry's crucible record. I thought his head was gunna go when he was 4-1 down cannot belive hes won 10 on the trot especially against hendry, its a one-off but he looks as though hes got his head on in this tourny.

Absolutely. His behaviour at the China Open was poor, but unless you were somehow personally slighted by it, (and even then, not really), you shouldn't be going around saying that people with mental illnesses are "psycho". Clearly he is a troubled bloke, no-one can say otherwise. All it displays is your own ignorance, if you really think making fun of mental illness is an apt topic for a joke. Having said all that, go ahead if that's your bag, you're probably beyond reason in that case.

However your saying peope who have mental illnesses should be cared for or people who have mental illnesses should not be made fun of. Bloody rapists and paedophiles must have mental trouble but brophs you would probably wra people like that up in cotton wool and say "leave them alone they have mental trouble". |

His comments at the china open were hilarious imo
I'd be bored shitless sitting in a press conference like that, taking forever to ask him a question, basically asked him the same question 3 or 4 times worded differently. Hadn't he just lost too? |

I'm just expressing a point, maybe my point of psycho was taken out of context, hes a great character for snoker to have.
He seems to be getting very lucky against hendry, I don't know why but he the only player that hardly ever gets any flukes or a great run of the ball and I hav no idea why that is. Hope he wins with a session to spar. One of the reasons I think hes a character and atiny bit loony is when he was talking about the crucible not so long ago in the world championships and then mid conversation he said "hang on forget about snooker what about all these monkey's and animals that are dying from global warming and then started talking about kenya" I couldn.t contain my laughter. |

Ronnie O'Sullivan v Ali Carter in the final today. Ronnie's had yesterday off, and Carter had a tough match until pretty late last night. Unless Carter stays with him until the final session, this could be a trouncing.
