I'm going to text my scouse mates about this. They're all experts on latin american culture and they might be able to shed some light on this. Let's not be quick to judge: for all we know, raping someone on live tv might be the same as calling someone 'mate' in Brazil.

This is ridiculous if true. I mean they know they are being recorded 24/7. Absolutely disgusting behaviour. What is the world coming to when someone commits a rape on live broadcast?

Jesus Fucking Christ...... this is fucking atrocious if true BUT the cynic in me says that this was always going to happen at some point, somewhere in the World.

I haven't seen the video, as I can't view youtube at work... but like, if this rape is going on live on camera, and considering the amount of microphones etc they should have dotted around... if someone heard something remiss, shouldn't they be going in there to stop it?? Or is the integrity of Big Brother more important then Rape?!
