How serious is the nazi problem in Germany?
I know people who went to Germany recently to a gymnastics event and they were given an identification card that gave them free access to public transportation, museums, some restaurants and other stuff, but because these people I know have jewish-rooted last names they were advised to ommit them in this identification card for fear they could be harassed by gangs. I was really surprised by this. Of course they refused to ommit the name and nothing happened, but the fact this sugestion was given must mean the authorities fear something. |

It's hard to understand that Neo-Nazism is so strong in Russia. I can see why anti-immigrant tendencies were common, but Neo-Nazism in particular? Never mind that the Soviet Union essentially defeated Nazi Germany, or that one of the common Nazi hatreds was to towards the "slavic hords".
Ignorant people. |
