local elections in england
i know its probably a bit early for this but we have to start somewhere.I do hope that any intelligent persons on here arent going to vote for a local labour electorate.they have done fuck all for me, my wife or children since they came into power,im sure a massive defeat in the local council elections may be the beginning of the end for what for me and my family has been the worst bunch of total wankers ever to run this country. They have took the GREAT out of BRITAIN. sorry to rant but my car got vandalised on thursday and the police didnt have the man power or resourses to come and look at it.wtf do i pay taxes.

Actually our local council is Conservative and it's a fucking shambles, too. Chatham has had a one-way system for at least ten years because the centre of town gets so busy it was the only way to keep things flowing. Yes, it could be slightly annoying but it worked.
The Conservative council, thinking they were on to something, changed it back to a two-way system. Gridlock. Total, constant gridlock. There's outrage in the town, but we can't do anything about it. So, not only is it much, much worse than it was before, but we're stuck like that because they blew a huge proportion of the budget changing it and don't have enough left to change it back. All politicians are cretins. We need to be invaded, then the cream rises to the top. |

Politicians are no different from the rest of us. We have a system in which it's basically impossible to get anything done without a certain amount of lying.

I don't think that's the whole idea of politics at all
It is necessary though, when you have a press and public, holding a multitude of contradictory and incompatible views, waiting to use anything you say against you Any of us would be exactly the same if we went into politics. Either that, or we'd last about two minutes. |

yes"And so we can see, Mr Speaker, you fat tit, that the economic record of this government, far from being the way the Right Honorable Member for that shithole Leeds has portrayed it, is actually...cock, cock, cock, cock, twatwagon...fecking brilliant. Erm, ignore that bit...oh you won't...right, goodbye then." |

I don't see what Ken's done (as mayor) to deserve the 'cunt' epithet from you lot... though that may be because I love the man, tribally and probably irrationally.

I've had some personal experience of how he operates in the past and formed the strong impression that he was a duplicitous cunt. I'm not going to vote for him which is difficult, since I always vote Labour.

Time to be tactical with the voting with all this Page Ranking stuff.
Borris and Ken should get enough first preference votes to make it through to the second round with reasonable ease, no disrespect to Brian Paddock. So the second preference ones will carry the day one way or the other, that is where i'll put my X for Borris then i guess. With my borough paired up with Haringay we'll probably still end up with a Labour member on the London Assembly. Bit of a fix though Labour were in power when this all began and they were drawing up the rules and regs, noundaires e.t.c. |
