Your point was that we belittle your players because we are jealous. I have never belittled Stam, I think he's a good player. I wouldn't swap Carragher for either of Nevilles, both he and Henchoz have had great seasons.

As for Smicer, we still haven't seen the best of him at LFC due to injury and, in part, rotation but I've seen him play at Lens a few times and for the Czech republic and the guy is quality - his goals ratio at international level should tell you that, much as Andy Cole's show he can't cut it at international level.

First of all I do not share the opinion that Cole can't cut it at In'l Level, I think he did very well in the games he started, as for scoring he has one goal in what 11-12 games? do not worry England might play Andora soon and if he scores 5-6 goals in that game he will have an ave. of 1 goal every 2 games(Statistics do not show the whole pic. sometimes)Cole played and scored in the CL or even the PL against better CB(s) than some In'l teams have(including Barca.&Liverfool).
