Exactly, and things are being said which might not have any relevance to the attack. well you are obviously going to have mixed feelings over an issue like this if u have been mixed up in something similar to that degree.

They did not nearly murder anyone ....Clifford did the beating and rightly got 6 yrs for it the others were also punished and Bowyer was innocent. What exactly is not clear about that?

where does this idea come from that sarfraz naheib "threw the first punch"?

according to testimony given in court, the drunk "gorilla" (one of woodgate's mates) was throwing and missing with a lot of punches out side the majestyk. he finally connected with one - a slap to the back of the head - at which point naheib instinctively threw one back. the judge said his actions amounted to nothing more than having "the temerity to try to defend himself"

so fuck off with your twisting off the facts.

You talk bollox.....I was as horrified as anyone when I heard what players from my team were involved in. I have said all along they should be treated like any other person and punished accordingly. The jury sat and listened for 22 weeks to all the evidence and came to its decision so why cant we all except that and move on?

It seems to me that Bowyer is a very nasty piece of work and hardly a model employee. Getting drunk to the point of losing it is not ideal behaviour from an England International and keeping company with blokes who put people in hospital aint too clever either. At 19 years he is old enough to know better. You have only to watch his enraged face on the football field to recognise that he has a very low flash point.
I think Leeds are very wise to unload him though I doubt they will succeed.

I have said all along they should be treated like any other person and punished accordingly. The jury sat and listened for 22 weeks to all the evidence and came to its decision so why cant we all except that and move on?

Red Pat Posts: n/a	It seems to me that Bowyer is a very nasty piece of work and hardly a model employee. Getting drunk to the point of losing it is not ideal behaviour from an England International and keeping company with blokes who put people in hospital aint too clever either. At 19 years he is old enough to know better. You have only to watch his enraged face on the football field to recognise that he has a very low flash point. I think Leeds are very wise to unload him though I doubt they will succeed.
