I just realised it wouldn't work if we all sent pm's saying he was demoted. Chances are he knows one of us and would just think it was a joke.

We need an idea that the mods can't ruin which involves pranking a poster via pm.

Let's take it a step further.

Perhaps we could pm a newbie and tell him he has been selected to participate in the Redcafe Promotion Challenge where he has to do certain things to gain promotion. Challenges that vary from sending pm's to people to posting stuff in the forums etc.

Any ideas?

Ok how about a PM that says something like you won some kind of a redcafe random draw and you're getting to be one of the mod! The catch is he has to do something stupid to become a mod.

He/She will be so confused they won't know what's happened.
