A bit touchy aren't we.....even said I'd prefer you Scousers to win it over the Mancs......no pleasing some people ?!!

Anyway,it's ,as they say, all about opinions. But I have been watching football for over 35 years and seen all the ups and downs.Believe me,it's impossible keeping up the kind of record you have against the mancs. Some day it's going to end,Maybe not this year, but sometime and I ,for one, expect they will get the better of you this season.Just on the law of averages!

I do think there's a good chance you might not qualify for the CL,especially if valencia play as they can this week.At least, you can concentrate on the league !

So far this season, your performance, although admirable in many ways (see the positives above)has not been without a fair share of luck.As we all know,it does balance out over a season. So,let's see who's on top when it counts....after 38 games !!

Oh Alex, Nice shirt on Sat. BTW.

Picture this. About 10 Liverpool fans, the same amount of Everton fans and 1 United fan.!! I am happy to say that they all came through uninjured.!!!!

Despite the hatred of some in here against anything Liverpool I can asure you that despite our differences in support there was not a single moment of annimosity whatsoever. There were discussions as to the shift in the balance of power in the EPL and that included Arsenal and every other team.
I have supported United probally a whole lot longer than most in here, I love the game and am not blind to the achievments of others. I love to discuss the game , its history and the future. Any time someone comes in here that is not a United supporter and posts some comments he gets slagged rather than go back and offer anything constructive. Lets be honest we are struggling for fucks sake.
I point positive things out to Alex and he does the same, yet not once does it ever get to the point of aggro and the same goes for his and my mates and in any case he is bigger than me.
Now I aint here to defend him, he can do that on his own. All I say is be open and honest whatever anyone states, for there could be some truth in what they have to say.

oh Bob, help, please protect me, I'm feeling all unloved with all these nasty hurtful posts against me!!

(he he)

By the way, for those who've mentioned their names, you won't be also rans in the league because of RVN, OGS, Beckham, Scholes, Giggs etc.
You will be also rans in the league because their back-ups are Forlan, Fortune, Chadwick and Veron. And Phil Neville still gets a game every week.

It's seriously (and I'm officially actually being serious now rather than just taking the piss) time to shake hands with Ferguson for a job very well done. But he's finished. Even an article on this very site says it. He's 60 years of age and his time (like everyones does) has come to an end. His buys (90 million pound for four players... two of whom are duds) has left your squad in tatters. It's not the injuries that are killing you. It's the fact that you have no cover for the injuries.

1 Michael Owen
There's no denying it, Michael Owen is a goalscorer. He can score at the most crucial times when things arent going to plan. An incredible asset to the team, and will no doubt finish the top Premiership goalscorer this season. Michael Owen has his socring boots on again, and this will help Liverpool fire their way to a firdt Premiership Championship win.

A Championship winning side is a side who has a solid defence. We have that in abundance. They have been the best by far in the Premiership of the last couple or seasons or so, and our defence will keep out the toughtest of sides.
Top sides in Europe like the mighty Basel?

He's here for the long run. He said it would take time. And it has. But he's building a formidabble team, and no doubt his man manegement skills eminate through to the players. Controlled, focussed and never afraid to air his honest views, Houllier has finally brought back the spirit of the Liverpool of old.
I take it 'tactical now-how' was used because he is always saying "now how do we go about doing anything but the long ball"?

Liverpool have crept behind them over the years, coming close on many occasions, but the Reds have been ready to take over the hotseat and now that United have faltered the Reds of Merseyside are the only Reds in town. He's right, the 6 points we took off them last season did help us snatch back the trophy

Where are these 'best fans in the World ever' (TM) on match days?

That was then. This is now. And slowly and surely Anfield is becoming a tough place to play now. And it's that invincibility that used to surrond the place that could help put the fear back into opposing teams. If we can go unbeaten at home all season, this will clearly put Anfield back on the footballing world map as the most feared stadium to play in.
How many games did Liverpool lose there last season? Yeah right it's a fortress

This ability to have a team that can slot into different formations, roles and positions on the pitch are crucial for Liverpool to win games when things arent going right and a change is needed. Championship winning teams are flexible, and this Liverpool side clearly shows players are willing to forfeit their preferred position for the benefit of the team.

Hoofball and nothing else is hardly flexible is it?

Have dreams not been made at Old Trafford? Goals that Cantona, or Ruud have scored in much more recent years than the '70s or '80s
