Depends on how good a season Ronaldo has really. If you wanted to have any chance last season, he had to be in your team really. Drogba is injured atm isn't he?

50 points to start off the season...

Not too bad for the opening weekend.

with +3 mystery points, it's put me ahead of my opponent in the 'Head to Head'.

Sure thing Cesc.

All players get 2 points for playing 60 mins or more, and 1 point for any less. An assists is always worth 3 points as well regardless of which position that player who assisted plays.

Goalkeepers: Get 4 points for a clean sheet, and 1 extra point for every 3 saves.

Defenders: Get 4 points for clean sheets, and 6 for scoring a goal.

Midfielders: Get 5 points for scoring a goal.

Strikers: Get 4 points for scoring a goal.

At the end of the day, the website also awards bonus points for the 3 best players in each game, according to them. MOM gets 3 bonus points, next best 2 and 3rd best 1.

Oh and you can't have more than 3 players from each team.

Oooh this sounds tricky as, I absolutely love it.

It's going to take me forever to choose a side. No doubt this will chew up all my spare time, haha which isn't good since my AFL one has only two rounds left!

Cheers for the help mate!

When did you put him in your team? Did you miss the deadline for transfers, or is he on your bench and not in your starting eleven?

Well I'd have scored about 113 if I had picked Ashton, Deco, Lampard, Gallas, Carragher, Geovanni, & Agbonlahor.

The fact you posted the question suggests you already know.

Hopefully you'll manage to challenge right to the end of this season.

No... seriously... I've been with my head stuck in my work, and every other second I've been cramming like a freshman undergrad, reading about footy... My brain feels like it's going to split wide open.

I haven't seen what your score is...

-----------------------------

Bahhhhhhhhh that's not a bad score for the first day. Mind you it's not the front page, lots of leg room n' pretty ladies n' all... but you're doing ok.

We'll keep the front page party going til' ya get here.

50 points for the first week...not bad, respectable, but not great.

66th currently in the Redcafe league - tough competition!!

Which is the tougher comp - the EPL or the Redcafe Fantasy Premier League? :-)

51 points, 58th in redcafe league. Had Essien and Berbatov in my team and forgot to take Fabregas out so not bad considering I only had 8 players.

Also had Mendes as a sub and he was sold to Rangers. Is it worth 4 points to make a transfer?

you get 1 free transfer in between gameweeks, with every additional transfer after that costing you 4 points.

Depending upon the circumstances, I use two at a cost of 4 points.

It's a gamble. Could cost me, I might slip to page two this week, but it's about how I'll perform next week.
