*THE LEAGUE IS NOW CLOSED TO NEW ENTRIES*

Like last season, it is now compulsary to have your RedCafe username in your team name - if you were in the league last year then you can log in with the same details and you will be automatically entered into the Caftards league:
Fantasy Premier League - The official fantasy football game of the Barclays Premier League

If you weren't in last year and want to enter then register, get your team sorted and then post your team name in this thread - I might send you the code if I can be arsed but no promises !

Do you have to pick a team before joining a league I want to wait so transfers and injures are sorted out ?. If so can you pick a team before the deadline submit it then change it without taking points off ?.

It 's nice balanced team. Maybe too much money spent on defenders.

If Fabregas leaves Wilshere should be a good buy. Cabaye could be a differential, not many have him or have heard of him. Silva I think is going to be immense for City this year.

I like Suarez and Odemwingie but would wait til the third gameweek. Suarez is still at the Copa America and may not play the first couple of games and Odemwingie opens up against United then Chelsea. West Brom's schedule gets much better after the first couple of games.

^ I think that midfield will get you a lot of points. Baines will contribute as well. Good goal-scoring attack too. I like it.

I can only access Internet via iPhone right now and it only loads the left half of the page so cant pick a team. Any way around this?

Kompany was only 6.0, bargain really, and Walker 5.5

You're right about the strikers though, I did notice WBA's opening fixtures.

Thanks for that it was good to reminisce the feats of previous years.. I have been improving by cutting my positions by almost exact halves.. From 17 in '09 to 8 in '10 to a high 4th last year.. Hopefully will be 2nd this year and 1st the season after..

Quick question. Would you sacrifice Darren Bent for someone like Odewingie/Gyan in order to upgrade Shawcross and Warnock with Huth and Kompany?

You have to pick a team before joining a league.
Transfers are unlimited until August 13.
Nobody can see your team until it starts anyway.

i'd rather have Bent, he will get more goals than the other 2.
Kompany doesn't score many but he will keep clean sheets, Shawcross might pop up with a couple

I'm swithering over Bent - previous points are superb but price is high and he no longer has the services of Downing or Young.
