My team
Jaaskelanien A.Cole - Skrtel - Jagielka - Cahill Silva - N'Zogbia - Nani - Jarvis Gyan - Doyle Bench: Harper, Odemwingie, Jose Enrique, Etherington Undecided on mine. The midfield is strong. Nani got me a lot of points last season, same with N'Zogbia. Jarvis is a risk, but with his good form last season, he could potentially add more assists and goals to his game. Defence is average. A.Cole usually guarantees points with his clean sheets and assists. Skrtel was good last season points wise, Jagielka is a solid CB and may go to Arsenal which would increase his price. Cahill is also a regular starter. A defender and goalie from Bolton is risky though. Up-front is the weak link. Gyan is my main gamble. Sunderland have done well in the transfer market and he's always got a good chance of starting. Doyle is a risk, great worker but doesn't always get that many goals. Once again 2 Wolves players is a risk. Odemwingie will probably take Doyle's spot, but they've got United at home so no chance he'll score on the first game Thoughts? |

You have a lot of money tied up on your bench. I would think about up grading your strikers. Gyan has not been involved in Sunderland's preseason much. I think he has only recently rejoined the team. Odemwingie I like but WBA's first two games are against United and Chelsea. He should be ideal for the next few games after that though. |

Has Gyan not? Never thought about that. I'll look for alternatives. |

Think the the Wigan lads might be worth a punt for their first few games of the season ?
Nor Swan QPR N'Zogbia in midfield (£7.5m - 167pts) and Rodallega up front (£6.5 - 123pts) |

Team name: KalouXI
------------Given Brown--Vidic---Kompany--Riise Nani--Taarabt--Wilshere--Sinclair -------Rooney---VanPersie Bench: Ruddy, D.Simpson, Ferguson, Dembele My bench is really weak but my first XI is as good as most I think. Who will take Citys penalties when Tevez leaves? |

I have both N'Zogbia and Rodallega, plus Al-Habsi in my starting eleven for the first three games, but if N'Zogbia is transferred out Wigan doesn't look as good and I might have to have a rethink.

I've made some slight changes to my team. I reckon I'm gonna have Rooney/Tevez/Van Persie on rotation throughout the season. Two of them will be in my side at any time. Couple those with Lampard and Vidic who will also be present and that's a fair wack of my budget gone. Gotta have the big hitters though

Plus if I spent 12 each on three strikers, I would go with either a 4-3-3 or 3-4-3, you can't have such an expensive skriker on the bench every week. |

I think he will be a starter for them. Not heard anything about him playing in midfield but if he does, all the better as he would still get inevitable clean sheet points and he had a decent scoring record from CB last year and that would only improve in midfield

Do we really need to have our team name as our username??
My team is already done, and my Caf username is my actual first name, which would be displayed next to my team name in the league table. Is that good enough?

Chelsea play their last preseason game against Rangers on the 6th of August and that traditional game against rangers usually tips their hand as to their line up the week after when the regular season starts. If Chelsea go with Bosingwa or Ferreira at right back, then Ivanovic could be used at CB and you end up with Alex, Ivanovic and Luiz splitting one spot or two when Terry is out. I can't see him being used as a defensive midfielder, he lacks the defensive discipline to be a CB, would be really hard to make a defensive midfielder out of him. |

Struggling to pick a decent midfield at the moment. I'm definitely having Nani, Rooney & Van Persie which doesn't leave a lot of cash for the rest of the squad. The midfielders seem a bit overpriced compared to the defenders.
Anyway, the bonus point system seems to have been tweaked (now based on the "EA SPORTS PPI" - whatever that is). And did they have bonus point ties before?: Bonus Points The three best performing players in each match according to the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index will receive additional bonus points. 3 points will be awarded to the highest scoring player, 2 to the second best and 1 to the third. Bonus points will be awarded the morning after the matches are played. Examples of how bonus point ties will be resolved are as follows: If there is a tie for first place, Players 1 & 2 will receive 3 points each and Player 3 will receive 1 point. If there is a tie for second place, Player 1 will receive 3 points and Players 2 and 3 will receive 2 points each. If there is a tie for third place, Player 1 will receive 3 points, Player 2 will receive 2 points and Players 3 & 4 will receive 1 point each. |

as long as it is clear who is who that is fine. So basically your Caf username can be your Team Name or Manager Name. Done - so I think all those who have posted their team names have the code and all those who havent got jack shit

You could change Captain ever week if you wanted depending on who is playing who. Same with the Vice Captain. Whichever player you think is going to get the most points that week you make captain and whoever you think is going to get the second highest points you make Vice Captain, that way you are covered. They could both be from the same team especially if they are playing a weak team, but probably a good idea to be from two different teams.
