Not that much to be honest, still some decent titles though:

Diablo 3
Risen 2
Hitman
GTA 5

God of war 4?

Im sure some big games will come out in time but disappointing thus far. You'd have to think if you're rockstar, this would be the year to release gta 5 and dominate the market

I'll be getting Mass Effect 3. Anything else, I'll just have to see if I like the demos when they come out.

I hate that there are so many sequels. We need more original games.

Agreed. It's a shame but I don't think developers dare take a risk with new IP when they can churn out Call of Duty 19 and FIFA 13 which they know will sell by the bucketload.

I'd like to see someone do something genuinely interesting with the FPS genre in particular. Case in point - Mirrors Edge. For all it's flaws (in fact it's main flaws were exposed when it tried to conform to the usual FPS tropes) I thought it was a cracking game that tried to do something different but unfortunately didn't sell as well as expected.

As soon as a company does something new with the genre and it's a success, everyone else will just copy it. The cover system and no health bar in Gears of War being prime examples. Personally I miss the health bar.

Is anyone remotely looking forward to FFXIII-2?

I actually enjoyed the first one despite it not gaining positive reviews or indeed feeling like a Final Fantasy game. I don't harbour much hope for this but will probably pick it up eventually. Defo not at release though

GTA V will hopefully be my game of the decade let alone the year! If Resident Evil 6 is similar enough to 5 then I'll love that too. This probably doesn't belong in the thread but I really hope they announce some kind of 'Need for Speed Undeground' sequal onto PS3

Aye Burnout Paradise was a fantastic game, wouldn't mind a new one of those either, but NFS Underground is just that bit better IMO.

A sequel of sorts to Hot Pursuit would be cool.

New Video Games, The Best Video Games Coming Soon - Top Upcoming Games at IGN

Some interesting ones coming up for the xbox. Obviously, ME3 is the big one, but I could also be tempted by Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, I Am Alive, Syndicate, Darkness 2, MGS Collection and the Silent Hill Collection (all subject to review scores and playing demos, of course). We'll also surely get Ninja Gaiden 3, Street Fighter vs Tekken and the Devil May Cry Collection at work.

Haven't even finished with Skyrim yet, ffs. Nor even opened Deus Ex.

This.

Paradise was amazing... and Burnout 3: Takedown is probably the greatest racing game ever in my humble opinion.

Very disappointed with the game. Story mode is awful and there are no character endings in arcade mode.

I will be trading it on Friday and going to try out the new UFC game

The lad at work bought it, so I have no stake in it. These fighting games are all much of a muchness, really. Good for a quick 20 minute sesh, but I wouldn't buy a full price one myself.
