All Things Electronica

It does exactly watch it says on the tin, this thread is for everything and anything to do with electronic music. Feel free to post your favorites and get together a database of this type of music, hopefully we'll all be able to find some new tunes and bands that we haven't heard before.

I'll get things rolling with some I've collected, where possible if we can get the youtubes embedded that would be cool too.

Orbital - Belfast

Future Sound of London - Papua New Guinea

Eat Static - Epsylon

Photek - Age of empires

Leftfield - Space Shanty

Use the youtube button and in between paste in the numbers and letters between or after the '=' sign from the link in the address bar.

What a wonderful thread! I've been a huge fan of different kinds of electronic music since I first started buying records.

Some tunes like Papua New Guinea just never get old.

Here's some random tracks I love.. Mostly newish stuff.

Aphex Twin - On Classic!

Abakus - Igamatik

Booka Shade - Night Falls

Trentemøller - Miss You What a producer this guy is

I'm not sure how well known Swedish producers Vibrasphere are abroad seeing as they are virtually unknown back home, but some of their tracks are absolutely amazing.

Vibrasphere - Manzanilla

Vibrasphere - Tierra Azul

Brilliant post Mr Stove, you have excellent taste in Electronica, you have introduced me to the following:

Abakus
Booka Shade
Trentemøller
Vibrasphere

Hadn't heard of any of them, but they all sounded superb and I'll be looking for more stuff by them.

Keep it up, I'd love to hear more of your tunes and other artists too.

Cheers RedNome. I'll go dig up some more. Danish producer Trentemøller is probably my favourite out of those I posted. Try to find his essential mix from 10-14-2006 it's incredible.

Will do, but just to clarify: I haven't actually produced any of this myself.

It's still pretty hard to find tracks on youtube, but here are some other very random tracks I rate.

Pryda - Muranyi From house producer Eric Prydz who brought us that horrible 'Call on Me' tune and made £ 5 mil or so on ring tones. He's actually excellent when he doesn't decide to cash in. I love this track, reminds me of Zelda on Nintendo.

Djuma Soundsystem - Les Djinns (Trentemoller Remix)

Yunus Guvenen - Red Pilot Dark and long

Chab - Sunrise Unfortunately I only found a short clip of this one

Breeder - Tyrantanic (Slackers Kingdom Come Mix)

Air - La Femme d'Argent
