Yeah so I've gathered.. the 24:hours crew seem to throw some good parties though, love their mp3 blog http://2-4-hours.blogspot.com/

Loads of good stuff coming out of Göteborg it seems, besides Sally Shapiro their is Studio, Pacific!, Boat Club and Sankt Göran.

You clearly have a lot of knowledge of the Swedish electronic music scene. I've never even heard about any of those, but then again I'm no DJ.

Over here in Stockholm, there's occasionally a nice party, but mostly it's house(Swedish house mafia et al) or trance DJs. Though once in a while you can find a gem. Right now I'm thinking about going to see Robert Hood in a couple of weeks time.

I love Skatebård too. My favourite tune of theirs is probably 'Holidays on Ice in Space'. And Erlends album where he does a lot of remixes (There is a light etc) is class. Think it was a Back to Mine. There's a kind of special Norwegian sound in the electronic genre. A bit hard to describe but a Noggie friend of mine says it's because most of them are from Bergen and work together. Cheers for that Lindström tune, I really like it.

On a completely unrelated note, do you use Ö or Ø in Iceland?

Skatebård's to be spotted out and about in Bergen... But he's always been a dull cunt whenever I've talked to him.. He's from my hometown further north as well =)

What an awesome mix album this is, you gotta listen if you haven't heard it, a classic from the Fabric series.

Fabric 29 - Tiefschwarz

Just Brilliant.

Yeah that one I really liked. I have an old Global Underground of his and I like UNKLE stuff as well. The only Fabric record I own is number 20 (John Digweed) which is great as well.

I'm gonna find some more stuff by these after hearing this mix.

On a side note Kristjan any recommendations for some real dark techno or just dark electronica in general?

Anything by Marc Romboy, Stephan Bodzin and/or Oliver Huntemann

If you want dark techno/electronica then something by any of these 3 guys is what you're looking for

Marc Romboy vs Stephan Bodzin - Ariel
As dark as it gets this one

Loving that Kristjan, dark as fuck, just the kind of stuff I was after, I'll have a hunt round and see what I can find.

Between you and Iron Stove my album collection has grown rather rapidy with some quality stuff, still wading through it all.

I'll post up the best ones when I've absorbed them all incase I have stuff any of you haven't heard before.

I've listened to the new Booka Shade album 'The Sun and the Neon Light'. A couple of really nice tracks on there like 'Duke' and 'Redemption' but I have to say I'm a bit disappointed with it. They seem to have changed their style a bit and I hope it will grow on me. But I have to say right now I don't feel it is nearly as good as Movements. I'll probably still buy it though.

Adam Beyer - Second Surrounding/Nanobot His Ignition Key album from 2002 is very nice.
