Seeing that I got infracted once for accidentally posting something about Spider-Man 3 when the movie was fresh out, I'm not going to go down that road again. But yeah, I guess he just might.

Just saw it. I've been waiting for this movie for the best part of 3 years now....and to be honest, the first hour or so left me a little underwhelmed. Sure, they introduced the Joker, sure they introduced Dent, they had a couple of fight sequences, but to me the film took a long time to take off. But when it did, it fucking flew. Fantastic stuff, makes piddly stuff like Spiderman look amateurish and laughable in comparison. Ledger as the Joker is fantastic, absolutely brilliant, although I wish he had more screen time. Bale is excellent as usual, as is Eckhart as Dent and two face. Crazy cgi/make up for that btw...

Go watch it, it's worth the two and a half hour sitting.Well worth it actually, I think I'll be going again soon.

Absolutely brilliant performance from Ledger. I don't know what else to say.

So is this Ledger performance worth an oscar nomination, the hysteria of the movie aside? Jack Nicholson should have won it for his interpretation I thought.

Brilliant. Just brilliant.

Ledger simply own that role. Sorry Jack, but you've been replaced. All the cast was excellent. I'm going to see it again tomorrow.

Here's my thought.
I know Heath Ledger is the actor who is playing the Joker in this movie, but everytime Joker come up, I simply can't imagine that the dude from Brokeback Mountain and Cassanova was that same guy I'm seeing on the screen.

He completely become that role. If Johnny Depp can be nominated playing a pirate from a Disney ride, surely Ledger playing a comic book villain is possible to get nominated as well.

A bloody brilliant interpretation of the comic book villain who is also by far the best comic book villain ever.

Ok, so i've watched the trailers like 100 times, no exaggeration , mainly because Joker looks to be so fucking cool. I have huge expectations, hopefully they'll be fullfilled.

IMDB rating and people saying they've watched it 4 times already makes me happy .

Sounds good then, from what I heard he was totally immersed in it during the filming in terms of getting it right. Of course this lead to inevitable speculation that this was part of the reason for the pills or depression etc. Who knows.

Looking forward to seeing it when it comes out here.

Saw it yesterday, lives up to and exceeds all the hype. Not sure whether there were a couple of cuts made in the Singapore cinema release though and couldn't believe that there were parents who had taken kids as young as 3 with them (one in a push chair ). The one in the push chair was carried out by her mum at one point crying "but I don't like the man" only to be carried back in again 5 minutes later still crying with a tub of popcorn.

I hope their kids keep them awake with the nightmares and therapy bills for years to come.
