As a resupply, you can get insane amounts of points on Grand Bazaar, you just drop a resupply on the B alley way point and if you're a squad leader set B to the defend. The points roll in. Usually another person has a pack out as well so you resupply yourself, when your bag expires you already have another one ready.

Aye, that's what I was saying with the recon example. You still won't make that many points. 64 player Op Metro is more of a point spammer than 64 player Grand Bazaar.

.44 Magnum is the best damage I think. I have a soft spot for the REX and I've noticed lots of people using the G18. Depends what you're looking for. The .44 can two-shot kill -- one to the head.

In Conquest, my team just camps at one end while the opponents own all the control points. They're all fucking snipers. I hope they all get the clap.

In Metro, the dumbasses all fought over one staircase leading up to the 2nd control point. I sneak around to the second one and neutralize the second one while trying to get to the third since no defenders will be back there. No one else leaves the one fucking staircase so it's just piles and piles of bodies.

I can agree with you there but for me it's less about the map size and more about the number of players. Up to about 10 vs. 10 I can hold my own, beyond that and I tend to get swamped.
I think it's simply down to my gamestyle and gaming history. Started with Ghost Recon and a much slower, tactical gamestyle, which doesn't really work when you have 63 people running around like loons, sniping with an RPG!

Still, fecking brilliant game and I'll keep on playing.

I'm similar and I agree with EPR - I think it's about gaming style. I can get positive k/d's on 64-player TDM but put me on a relatively empty map and I'll keep dying, I really lack the patience.

I have a crazy love hate relationship with jets right now. I'm brilliant at outmanoeuvring and avoiding being shot down but I can't kill for shit. I'll damage them significantly but never enough to disable, or even worse they'll blow up and I somehow don't get the points.

Either it's buggy as hell or the machine guns on the jet's are ridiculously underpowered.

Yeah that was what I meant.

It's pretty hard to stalk someone when you have people coming from all directions.

Still it makes for a pretty mass-kills when you have newbies all taking cover in the same corner.

I can't even get jets up flying for more than 20seconds before bursting into flames

I feel like LMGs could do with an accuracy nerf - they handle basically like assault rifles but with endless bullets. They need to be far less accurate while moving and firing at least

There is a bit of a bedding in period where you get used to what things you should be running from and what things to ignore, as well as the layout of the maps.

Well worth it though

Thoughts on the SKS? Just started using it and it seems wildly inaccurate. Doesn't help going from 12x to 7x mind. Recoil is sweet though.

EDIT: Take that back, its pretty fooking accurate and with minimal drop/recoil. Shame its about as powerful as lobbing a small stick at them. Back to the SV

I'm getting the game this week for the ps3, finally. I read the Battlefield multiplayer is much better than the MW3, like less camping and better maps, apparently more team-work and shit like that. Looking forward to this.

Ive been playing it for hours in the last couple of days. Great fun. Still havent figured out the squad system on multiplayer, just choosing random maps and blowing shit up.

I've barely played recently. For starters, I've had no time and then on top of that I've got Reckoning taking up some of my vidya time too.

However, I intend to play a bit over the next couple of weeks. I know Pexbo fancies a game over the weekend, anyone else interested? Sunday's looking good for the two of us.
