bit comet / torrent programmes and sites

ok so im fairly new to this torrents malarkey...

only got bit comet a few days ago and went on the piracte bay + downloaded the last season of 24 and the last season of lost...

downloading a couple of films right now and so far im pretty impressed with this torrent stuff.

is bit comet a decent programme to use? or is there better programmes

what exactly is limewire ive heard the name is it worth getting?

i have downloaded stuff of pirate bay... just because i had herd of them... is there any better sites for finding stuff?

also is there any good sites for finding recent movies... for example bruno???

finally... this torrent stuff basically seems quite similar to what winmx used to be like.... what happened to them? it seems they are now closed???

You do realise the feds might be monitoring this?

Utorrent+mininova is the way to go. Bruno's too new to get a decent copy.

i'm starting to worry about the future of torrents now.

If everyone starts using them then we're in trouble.

you should be hung drawn and quartered for posting on a topic of such heinous illegal activity. Those poor movie companies will not be able to bank all the hundreds of millions they are able if louts like you persist in such vile , contemptible and loathsome acts.

I am now going into my little chapel and going to say a little prayer that I hope will save you from your mortal weaknesses and hopefully will save you from the fire and damnation of hell and put you back on the path of righteousness

limewire is alright. You can use it to search torrents, but audio is often low quality and its not even worth bothering in regards to movies and videos. You can also download torrents off of pirate bay etc on it, but in all honesty Utorrent is the dogs balls.

Eztv ironically enough is great for torrents, but they are replacing their servers so will be down for a day or two.

I have never used bittorrent and I certainly wouldn't use Vuze as a hosting program because that would make me a right old bastard.

Is there a dvd screener of harry potter 6 out yet? I certainly hope not, and I hope it never finds its way to my pm box.

I watched the film this morning at the cinema though

I personally would never use torrent to illegally download movies, music or software but apparently these sick and twisted individuals use the following tools

Utorrent to download torrents with.
http://utorrent.com/downloads

Peer Guardian - a program to protect your IP during P2P sharing, apparently these criminals use it simultaneously with torrent download.
http://phoenixlabs.org/pg2/

These are some of the free sites that provide you with the best range of torrents available on the net. No need to add that you should never visit them.

For torrents I have found Azureus Vuze and Bitlord to the best clients. Haven't used torrents in years though.

Also if you don't want to download illegal torrents then you won't go to www.isohunt.com

And if you want the best speeds you won't sort your search results by number of seeders so you can tell which has the best seeder to leecher ratio.

Of course there isn't, if the film is just out in the cinema then why in gods name would they have a DVDSCR already? Common sense prevails.

Azureus is a memory whore. uTorrent is far and away the best one.

I've said it before, if you want to use bittorrent over rapidshare (you shouldn't use either) you need private sites because they're the only ones where you'll get everything quickest, and downloading at full speeds. And no, don't bother PMing me, I won't give you any, but there are plenty out there if you look right.

Otherwise, rapidshare would be better to use than sites like piratebay.

This info is purely for educational purposes though, don't you dare actually use it!

Also I wouldn't recommend using limewire for a whole film

Bitcomet is fantastic at doing the job in question...disgraceful program.

I would also be disgusted if you considered signing up to a private torrent site because of the super fast speeds available.

A court order. They now only allow uploads by approved people who districvute approved legal material.

Well done the Dutch courts. Sanity prevails. Sadly new sites will spring up all over the place and their work will be in vain. Never mind. We appreciate the futile effort and thank them from the bottom of our hearts. Someone has to take a stand. Think of the children. FFS think of the kids.

anyways if you are looking for other sites , look for private trackers they are better , but only the legal ones you can find at opentrackers.net
