Blueray movies
I have my ps3 and my laptop hooked to my full hd lcd tv via HDMI cables.
I've recently downloaded a 1080p Blueray movie but when I play it on my comp it lags, my CPU isn't powerful enough to play it apparently. How do I get around this? |

try "The Core Media Player"
I managed to play a 1080p movie smoothly on my PC with this player. The are other possibilities as uninstalling all your codecs and install only CoreAVC and something for sound. |

haven't seen a bluray movie except maybe at the TV stores - how is the quality?
reason I ask is that I have a 1080P TV but feel that it's not showing to it's maximum potential. |

Weastey, are those Atom laptop efforts(netbooks?) any good? I want a cheapish laptop that'll play DVD very well. I was thinking about a portable DVD player, but I've been advised to buy a lappy.
