Im listening to your mix right now - quite chilled out so far

there are actually quite a few Caftard DJ Mixes in the electronica thread and other threads already - it could actually be a good idea to put them all in one thread

Edit: You might want to rename this thread to 'Caftard DJ Mixes' or something to that effect.

Used to do quite a bit of DJ-ing years ago, ran my own nites etc.. even had my own dance shop in Northern Ireland with my mate, but that was about 10 years ago before I moved to Dublin.

Great buzz the old DJ'ing tho, the downside was the expense of the Vinyl, I wanted all the top tunes & that didnt come cheaply regardless of bulk. Even though I was gettin it in cheaper than most independents, Virgin began stocking the same tunes so our clientelle would travel to Belfast because they were sellin the same but atleast £2-3 cheaper, and in some cases were selling at £0.99 as it was freebies to them!

Feels good to get an old blast on the Decks now & then though, its like riding a bike - you never forget

Yeah i remember when Virgin/HMV started to move into the vinyl market & started to sell say the amato distribution for cheap. Loved it as a vinyl junkie, trying to sell the last 20-30 of my collection on discogs at the mo

Sorry for being an idiot, but what is a DJ mix? I assume you've not created your own music, because that looks like it has songnames and artists already. Is it mixing songs together in one long playlist, or taking bits from all the songs and making a new meta-song?
