I've liked them for ages. Whenever I asked people about them they'd never heard of them. Glad they are now getting the recognition they deserve.

One of the most underrated bands about in my opinion. Saw them last year at glasto and they were spot on for a daytime chill. From Bury as well :-)

If they're playing anywhere near you Sol, try and get to see them, they were brilliant.

Can't say i'm a fan but they sound(and look) like a grown up band, which is a huge plus point considering some of the fetuses who think they can make "good music" nowadays.

That's pretty much what I was going to say when I saw the thread.

I love Guy Garvey's voice, it's treads a really good line between being quite flawed but also very strong - especially when playing live.

I'm off to see them this week at The Roundhouse in Camden. Can't wait.

Haven't listened to them in awhile, but they're a pretty good band. Chill music, like to drink to them.

One of the most underrated bands ever.

Should have sold the numbers that Codplay have sold as they're are a gazillion miles better than them.

Saw them last night and they were fantastic - you would have had a grreat time 1871.

Only bad thing about the gig was that they played "One Day Like This" last in the main set and had baloons and streamers for the crescendo. The place looked like fucking top of the pops in the 80s.

I'm far too much of a curmudgeon to be enjoying shite like that.
