Will soon be getting a PS3 (on it's way as we speak!) and I was just wondering if it is completely region free? So I could just pick up any game from, say, amazon.com and play it on my PAL PS3 ?

Games are fine, bluRay are constricted by region though.

One thing to be careful of, games are region free, however, downloadable content is not they can lock it). So, for example, if you are into say Guitar Hero, you cannot download stuff from the US store and expect it to work in the EU.
