Fracture doesn't have great ratings either.
I was quite surprised to find out that Far Cry 2 won't be quite as demanding as the Crytech engine(allthough i'll reserve judgement on that till when i eventually play it) eveen though graphically it looks better and despite being open world/destructable environments and everything pretty much being dynamic you'd expect it to be an even bigger system killer than crysis |

Ive got mine on order from play.com too, in the past they usually get them to you on release date, and if not most definatly the day after. Alot of it boils down to where you live and what the postal service is like.

System requirements might be abit steep, but I think any decent modern PC should be able to handle it. |

I know its not going to be at the same level as Crysis....its a little bit friendlier to lower systems.
But i'd put money on needing a fairly high end machine to run the graphics fairly high in this. Stalker:Clear Sky is more demanding than Crysis running at max settings...well atleast according to UBERScholes and he has a shit hot comp The joys of a pc over consoles is you can allways turn the settings up or down depending on what it can handle |

I'd find it flattering if someone hard rubbed against me.

In fairness Clear Sky may be more demanding because it's buggy as fuck at the moment. Does look spectacular though, even better than Crysis at times.
Looking forward to Farcry 2. Sounds like it'll be similar to Stalker with an open world to explore, and not linear like Crysis |

Is this meant to be any better than the first one? I hated that game, but having seen the advert last night it looked pretty decent & has had good reviews (according to the advert).

Well I dont think I will be getting it on Friday anyhow. Fable 2 is top of my list, then it is a toss up between Farcry and Dead Space, but I will probably just not buy either and wait for Fallout the following Friday. Going to be an expensive few months

They always will be, and it's not just about raw grunt. Memory is a serious issue, and I'd like to see you play this game on a PC with only 512MB of total RAM in it (that includes what's on the graphics and sound cards).

Strangely enough, PS3 supports mouse and keyboard (both wired or wireless) in its firmware. However, many games don't support it. The only one that I can think of that does is UT3. RedLambs and I have had a discussion on why this feature of the PS3 never seems to be used by developers, and he thinks that it's down to frame rate.
